  1. Not sure about the the law in the US, but I would imagine that shooting somebody with a paintball or airsoft gun without their consent would be illegal, that is that unless they are posing an immediate threat to you or your loved ones. Graham
  2. Thank you, thank you. . . . . . . . . Ladies & gentlemen, Graham has left the building
  3. Hey Kevin, Have you got the Japanese or US version? If it's the US version, does it come with English language instructions? Graham
  4. Solscud007, so I'm guessing you missed the who Monkey-N Yamato parts ordering episode then? Read about it here. In the end Yamato gave Rob a big run around, shipping the wrong parts several times and still charging him for them. They did eventually ship most of the correct parts I gather, but then their so-called Customer Service Center decided to stop supplying spares. Graham
  5. OK, as there is also another topic talking about this below, I'm going to merge it with this pinned topic. 1....2......3.......Merge! Graham
  6. I could never really get into SAAB. The whole thing with using starfighter pilots as infantry seemed pretty silly to me. Graham
  7. Heh, I was talking with some of my contacts at Yamato a few days ago, and a February release is probably a little over-optimistic. I think March is probably more realistic. Graham
  8. Ah, but what if it's a LOTR Legolas type elf? You'll be a human pincushion full of arrows before you even make that first kick or try to get that first shot out of your .45! Graham
  9. 1) Make sure the back hatch is pushed all the way down past the two stops (small tabs) to the left and right. You will hear a click as you do this. The back hatch should no longer be at the same level with, i.e. no longer flush with the main back plate. 2) On the rear of the back hatch, there is a small swing arm. Rotate this arm 270 degrees and lock it to the top of the backpack. 3) In the FAST Pack set, there is a white piece that fits behind the Battroids head/neck area. This piece fits over the top of the back hatch and helps lock it in place to prevent it unlocking due to the weight of the FAST packs. Not the clearest of explanations, but I hope you can make sense of it. Graham
  10. Nope, Meltran exist in the TV continuity too, as the female military force. Protoculture splits into 2 factions. Zentran = side that used males Meltran = side that used females. Protodevilin attack, all previous protoculture hostilities put aside, and some fleets are melded together to help fight against the Supervision Army. Isn't Protoculture just a pretty flower that Meltrans wear in their hair? (Dons bullet proof vest and runs for cover). Sorry, I should know better, but I'm in a silly mood today. Graham
  11. They are called "Circle Bar Verniers". Unfortuantely, getting spare parts out of Yamato is pretty difficult even if you live in Japan. We had a very helpful member here (Monkey Nugget), that lives in Japan try to help members by orderering some spare parts and Yamato gave him a big run around, so he had to stop that service. Have you checked carefully inside the box and plastic tray? Those things are only lightly glued in, so sometimes they fall off into the box. If you bought your toy from HLJ, then you can try asking them to get a replacement part from Yamato. Sometimes that works. If not, a few members here have disassembled broken toys and sold the parts as spares. Maybe one of our members will be able to sell you the part you need. Good luck Graham
  12. Depends on the terms and conditions of the licensing agreement, but usually both parties will profit. If you like Zero but don't like Eva, then why buy an Eva CD? The Zero OST is not the greatest soundtrack. It's certainly not as good IMO as the music from SDF, DYRL, M+ & M7. However, after repeated listenings, it is growing on me (like a bad rash?). Graham
  13. Hasegawa's web site has shown it delayed until January for quite a while already. If you use Babel Fish to translate the text on the left of the screen it says "It postpones in late January". Graham
  14. Poor Agent One, we're probably never gonna let him forget this are we Graham
  15. See here for more info. Graham
  16. Have you tried www.cdjapan.co.jp? They sell only original items and as far as I know will ship anywhere. Personally, I always avoid ebay, except as a very last resort and then it's always a case of caveat emptor! Graham
  17. I not only threw mine in the garbage, I tortured them first with drill, hammer, box cuttter and cigarette lighter and then I threw them in the garbage. Horrible, horrible things and a complete waste of money IMO, although many others will disagree. Graham
  18. Yeah, what if his wife catch's him pokin' the psycho chick, that could get ugly. No, no no, Keith. Remember back on page 2, I reckon Beware of Blast got it correct. It's not a Psycho Chick, it's a Huge, Ugly, Fat and Hairy Man who doesn't like using condoms Anybody watched Deliverance? 'Squeal Piggy, Squeal'! Poor Mechamaniac Graham
  19. Ya know, for those annoying Yukikaze characters, they should hire some of the Fab Five from Queer Eye For The Straight Guy to voice the two main male leads. I think Carson Kressley would be perfect as either Rei Fukai or or the bearded sqadron commander guy (who's name I forget & can't be bothered to look up). You may be able to guess that I don't really like Yukikaze. Graham
  20. That's how they are supposed to be. 100% guaranteed. You won't find a picture of the FAST Packs with a light on the right. H Yep, Hurin is correct, the lights are supposed to be on the left of both packs. Graham
  21. Despite (or perhaps because of) living in HK, I don't actually like Chinese food much. I far prefer western style fast food, so I'm going to choose 'Humburger Popo' as my favorite place in SDF-1. Graham
  22. I strongly suggest that any true Macross fan who wants to buy this CD purchase the original (it can be ordered online through several stores) and thus support Big West, rather than buying the Sonmay version which as far as I know is an unlicensed bootleg. Look at it this way. Macross has to make money for BW. If it does not make money, BW will not consider releasing future Macross animes. A large part of the income for an anime franchise comes from merchandise royalties. Thus by buying bootlegs you are taking money away from BW and lowering the chance of more Macross being made. Graham
  23. I was under the impression Graham was the site admin That description was priceless Some people will buy anything. Well, I'm sorta more like an honorary admin. I have the power, but Shawn, when he's around does most of the actual admining. As for the Mods, well they've just been given full licenses to kill and been let out of their cage. They're lean, mean wildmen that shoot first and ask questions later, so it pays to be polite. Be afraid, be very afraid. Graham
  24. OK, I know this isn't science fiction or anime related, but I thought it was really funny, so I hope the Mods will let it stay for a while. This has to be the funniest ebay auction description I have ever read and so true as well. Read here. Graham
  25. Heh, no. BW's info is not up to date. The Q-Rau was originally supposed to be out late this year, but a few minor issues caused it to be delayed until next year. Estimated release date is February 2004, but this may slip depending on whether everybody can get their act together before the factory closes for the long Chinese New Year Holiday. Graham
