Same.  The inclusion of the Al and Bernie figures makes me want to get this and the Zaku FZ and recreate the last scene from the OVA.  I wore out my copy of the Cantonese dub of that series.

Well, I went ahead and bought the Master Grade ver. 2.0 RX-8NT-1 Alex Gundam this morning, as it's been getting fantastic reviews online.

I'll definitely also pick up the RE100 Zaku FZ as well when it's released  later this month, so I can pose them together.

I hope Bandai releases a Ver. 2.0  Master Grade MS-18E Kampher, as the original MG is supposed to be pretty bad.

Also, just makes me wish for another TNG-era starship based series. And I never thought I'd say that because I (mostly) liked the Kelvin Universe Start Trek stuff, especially Star Trek and IMO the horribly underrated Star Trek: Beyond.

    But oh well...

    -b.

I love the TNG era, but I've personally always wanted to see a show set 100 to 200 years after TNG.

Always thought it would be interesting to see how technology and the Federation have developed.

Today I got a package from ShowZ. I've been waiting for that Metal Club XN-Raiser for days. When I picked up my package from our office mailroom, the white plain box is all banged up. It was just wrapped with bubble wrap, wrapped taped in black plastic, with hard plastic corners to protect the box, which I think didn't help that much since these 3P boxes were using thin cardboards. To make it worse, instead of the XN-Raiser, I got the Metal Club 00 Raiser which I already have.

Anyways, I already emailed them about it. Hope they reply soon. Anyone here had an experience with ShowZ regarding their customer service?

On the other news though while I'm browsing ShowZ for their contact info, I stumbled on this: https://showzstore.com/pre-order-storm-baofeng-model-1-144-gundam-sentinel-msa-0011ext-msa0011-ex-s-exs-mg-gundam-deep-striker-red-version_p1365.html

The ShowZ red EX-S Gundam figure arrived. Here's a couple of crappy phone pics of it with my Bandai Gundam Sentinel Metal Robot Spirits toys.

And yes, it is an exact copy of the Bandai EX-S Gundam Robot Spririts toy, apart from the coloration.

My only complaint with the ShowZ version is the Back Boosters, crotch armour and chest I-field generator can come off a bit easily when handling the toy.

When I saw another AOZ MG kit, I ordered straight away, I don't know what it is but I really like these kits, already got the Hazel Custom, Advanced Hazel, Hazel Custom Titans Deployment color and 2 Hruduu for both color schemes. Just wish they did the Hazel Oslo.

Personally not a fan of any of the AOZ stuff.

I used to buy Dengeki Hobby magazine every month back when AOZ was being serialized in the early-to-late 2000s and I always thought that the AOZ mecha were quite boring and unimaginative designs.

To me the AOZ designs always just seemed lazy, like let's just take some exiting MS designs, recolour them and slap some extra weapons and boosters on them.

DS9 was and still is the best Trek series ever, hands down.

Voyager and Enterprise are what I use to relieve my insomnia.

I've still yet to watch all of DS9. Back when it originally aired, it wasn't shown in my country, so I only was able to see a few random out of order episodes a few years later on rented VHS from Blockbuster, back in the day........LOL

I have recently started watching DS9 on Netflix. Currently on season 2, but to be honest it's also kinda an insomnia for me cure at the moment, I do find many episodes send me to sleep. Probably doesn't help that I watch it on my bedroom TV. Hopefully it will pick up once I eventually reach the Dominion War episodes.

I haven’t retried Voyager yet, but that’s what I did with Enterprise and ended up really liking it. I think it was just a product of it’s time and fans were tired of the BB style of Trek. Now after nearly 20 years of grim/gritty sci-fi the show seemed like a breath of fresh air. The finale is still crap, but the overall show was very enjoyable to me.

    Chris

I recently watched all of Enterprise and ended up really enjoying it, to the point it's now one of my favorite Trek shows.

Which is strange as when it first came out I absolutely hated it, found it really boring and couldn't even make it all the way through a single episode.  I think I tried watching 3 episodes when it first came out and ended up switching channels after about 10-15 mins.
