Aside from the fact that George doesn't want to? Probably some score issues and such (for branching anyways) but I think that's pretty minor if the previous issue didn't apply. Doesn't bother me, either way. I know... I know. PPl will buy this version regardless.... and they will release the unaltered version eventually. Of course they will, becuase George knows he can make more money this way. If he released the Classic Trilogy before the Special Editions, everyone would buy the Classics, and sales for the Special Editions would be poor. This way, he knows sales of both will be strong.

MACROSS 7 FIGHT!!

There is something charming about the dub, though. Like Streamline's original Akira dub, it grows on you, and when you get the correct translation, you start to miss some of the oddities and quirkiness added by these dubs. The Hong Kong dub of DYRL has some aboslurmely CLASSIC lines.

I complained to the mods, so they had them removed. Ha ha!

Aim for the Top! Gunbuster, FLCL, anything by Miyazaki... Miyazaki really is the best. Can't go wrong there. Akira, of course, Ninja Scroll, Bubblegum Crisis (the original)...

But which version? LOL, does it really matter?
