I signed.
SC super-poseables would be pretty cool, hopefulyl they'll get to them. They're bound to run out of Macross and Mospeada stuff eventually.
I signed too. A "Hovertank", or whatever it's called would be a very cool toy....

You guys should really check out deepdiscountdvd.com they've got free shipping and the best prices around.
No kidding, those are some really good prices.....

Someone should put up a picture of the original 'Viper for comparison.
After seeing the commercials for the new series on the Sci-Fi channel, I can't help but notice the bold chance that they're taking with the story. I hope they execute it well.....

I just bought one of the last special edition box-sets to be found anywhere, and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised at how FUN this series is. The animation and voice acting (original Japanese) are good, if that's a concern of yours. You will be disappointed though, if you're looking for a morbid, serious and highly melodramatic story line like 'Evangelion for example. Nurse Nanako specializes in providing plenty of fan service, and laughs (read my 'sig for example). Don't let the DVD tag lines fool you however, as there is virtually no nudity or any sexual situations, something I had a problem with I might add.
Think of this series and this type of anime as an alternative to more serious anime titles that usually involve a young, sulking Japanese boy who doesn't know anything, doesn't come from a good family and is caught in a struggle for the end of the country/world/universe/human existence, etc. Actually, I can't think of many anime titles that don't involve that particular formula...
When watching this series just try to have a good time. Damn it, where's Area Seven when I need him....

The only trilogy I can think of that fits this discription is the Matrix...
T3 comes to mind
The Terminator story line is not a trilogy! There will be more Terminator movies in the future!
And I suppose sequel bashers would prefer that there weren't any to even complain about? Maybe Star Wars should've just ended with "A New Hope". Say what you will about sequels and trilogies, but we all know that we need to have and see them-they're as much a part of our lives as is paying taxes...Rambo 9? Jaws 6? Piranha 11? Bring it on!
Harry Potter, on the other hand........

WHo is Rob Van Dam?
I think he's a wrestler. No idea why he has a comic book shop though.
Well if we are talking about the wrestler, Rob Van Dam is credited with giving some popularity with the now defunct (?) ECW wrestling company. He now works for the WWE.
If we're talking about just some guy who owns a comic/toy shop, then this is one sorry bastard....
When's that YF-1R supposed to be out?

even equating getting macross stuff to burying your salami makes you a very sad man...
Seriously. Getting Macross stuff is WAY more fulfilling to a man than burying his salami.....

You guys really need to calm down when going through the "How to Transform" instruction booklet.
There's a booklet?
-
Yeah and it's a bargain at what, $300 or something?

'Just shooting in the dark here, but in the introduction sequence for Macross VFX, isn't the '19 shown riddling a Zentran ship with bullets in fighter mode with some sort of gatling weapon mounted underneath it? After a switch to Battroid mode, the lower left hand of the torso is where that gatling would be, wouldn't it?

hey i just got a low vis and i was putting on some decals, nothing out of the ordinary but then i noticed that some of the weathering paint was smugged i didnt think it was anything to worry about untill i was putting on decals on the nose and notice that it smugged alot, has anyone eles have this problem?
So that's what that stuff was. I broke my 'Low Vis out after my restaurant closed, and experienced smudging as well, although I thought I had gotten some fryer oil on it or something. Damn it, this thing's smudging on its own! Where's Earl Scheib when you need him?
-
I guess they didn't like the nose, either....
-
Heh...I had thought that he was, just a mascot...
-
No you don't understand-Hikaru was trying to play them BOTH...
-What a cad.......

I'll wait for a PC version. My ability to play FPS type games without a keyboard and a mouse seems to have atrophied.
Seriously. I couldn't even begin to imagine how you could play without the mouse/key set up...

As far as I'm concerned Evangelion left no questions unanswered. The Matrix on the other hand, is the way it is so that more money making sequels can be made in the future.....
Er, no I mean Matrix is the way it is so as to leave the audience with a philisophical experience that invites introspection and intellectual discovery....
All jokes aside, although Revoloutions does make alot of "plot holes", as NERV likes to call them, I see the story as concluding itself to a satisfactory level. The Matrix's story is alot simpler than it tries to be......
Now, where is my copy of "I am a soldier too"......

All of the above, but a NORTH AMERICAN RELEASE would be the best improvement they could ever surmise.
-
I wouldn't call this movie the end of a trilogy. Rise of the Machines is not to be considered a final story at all, and at the end of it they leave it rather open to yet another sequel.
Special features be damned. Just being able to watch Kristanna Loken's divinely perfect nude figure walk across Rodeo drive (or wherever it was), justifies the purchase of the dvd at twice the price...
-I liked the air force outfit too.....

I love it too. It is the only anime series that I was willing to cough up the money in order to buy in completion. Shinji's voice and character still grates my nerves, but you can't deny the quality of the series.
Bashers, please schedule an appointment with me to have your mouth attached to either of the exhaust pipes on my car, and remember to breathe in deeply....

This sort of thing is becoming more and more common. AOL has had a lot of trouble with this sort of thing where people were sent fake billing failure notices, and were prompted to enter CC information and such...
It's a good thing I don't pay my bills....
-
Sure, I hope they bring it out early. There are few things in the world that are worse than waiting....Ya hear me, Lucas?

I've been in love with this company's products ever since they did the Danger Girls. All I can say is God bless McFarlane.
Speaking of Alien(s), has anyone else here have the original Alien movie pop up in their theaters?

Every Valkyrie's beautiful, in its own way.
Why not buy a 'Taka/Bandai Valkyrie? They take a licking and keep on clicking, which is more than you or I or anyone will ever be able to say for the new guys on the block. And besides, they DO NOT look that bad, considering the design was made right around the time Christ was born.....
I wouldn't spend anything more than Yamato 1/48 prices on an "old" design, but anything less than that (reissues) I consider to be a steal...
-
Obviously the word "play" can mean anything to anyone, anytime or anywhere-it depends on the point of view.
The most important thing to remember though is that when playing, or otherwise dealing with your Valkyries, or any other situation in your life for that matter, the only thing that matters is what you think and how you feel; everyone else needs to mind their own damn business and/or get a life....
On that note, I fly my Valkyries around the room making whooshing noises......
Is there any way to play PS1 imports on PS2?

I suggest buying a "chipped" PS2, or buying one and then having it chipped. You can check out americanmodz.com to get an idea of what efforts and costs will be involved with this type of setup. You could try other tricks, such as the flip-top casing or even the slide card, both of which are in the Games' section somewhere, but I recommend getting a mod-chip. The cleaner the mod, the better it is.....
