Actually, how would a confrontation like that go down? Missiles would be out of the question because the targeting software wouldn't recognize the targets right? It would have to be an all-out dogfight, and a scary one for the Zeroes at that.....

Thanks for the advice, but after reading the pinned "What's wrong with my. . ." thread, I'm thinking I'll just stick with the 1/55s.

Your wariness is understandable yet ultimately not needed. As detailed and complicated and as close to perfect as the '48 is, any mortal man that would seek to handle this Valkyrie must exercise extreme caution and care. Don't just limit yourself to the '55s; they're a must for the Valkyrie fanatic but your collection should hardly stop there. You could skip the '60 series, with exception to the 'Ostrich and 'Seeker Valkyries, but skipping the '48s is out of the question. Just be caring and patient and the mythical '48 transformation will be a successful one....

Gotta' have faith and patience with the '21. Are you playing with the Fast Pak version? Just try to take it one step at a time and get to know the Valkyrie well. If you give it a chance, it will work out in the end.....

It's been about one year that most of us have had the privelage of being in the company of one of the greatest Macross products (at least for me), and probably the best Macross toy of all time, and I just wanted to see where the rest of you folks are in on this. Did you get the Hikaru '48 when it first came out last year? Is it still intact? Have you sold it? Painted it? Flown it around your house? Has it ended your relationship with your significant other? Has it been to Iraq?

I was naughty but made off relatively well anyways. My first christmas present in many years arrived in the form of the "Interactive" R2-D2 from last year. At last, I have someone to talk to.....
