Agreed, but what's keeping me from jumping for joy is your avatar, for example. The complexity of the '51 leads me to think that we'll have QC and breakage problems that we've never even thought of at a price that we can barely afford. Also, I think it's really strange that, according to Graham's update, the Japanese customers are not experiencing the breakage problems that we are. Are the Japanese acquiring replacement parts without officially reporting the breaks? Do Japanese fans actually transform/play with their variable fighters? Inquiring minds want to know...

Looks like it won't ship until next Tuesday, as Monday is a holiday and as of now on Friday evening, orders still haven't shipped. Is it too late to upgrade shipping while the order is "processing?"

Yeah, now I remember trying to decide between the two back in the day. Ultimately I went with the Saturn version because EGM (are they still around) declared that version to be better visually. As for the Action-Replay-Plus, I have the 4meg version. I have to pop open the system and exchange the first disc with the second one, and then restart the system from the Action-Replay. You should be able to boot up directly into Phase 6, the first section of the second disc. Man, it's been years since I've played this game and on my 57" it's spectacular!

Sounds great. I've always thought about running a smaller engine to better handle weight and balance issues, like a stroked 360 or something. Ah well. Don't forget the headers!

Try to find a seller that has a reasonable price not just on the 'Stealth, but on shipping and handling charges as well. Lastly, make sure that the seller has near perfect feedback-there's no reason why a reputable, reliable seller should have anything too far below 100% positive feedback...

I've got the Saturn version, and it sounds like the same effect from the series, such as when Hikaru blasted a Regult with the VF-1D in the city. That was a really cool scene...

If I were you I'd start looking into saving up for an HDTV. Just like Gaijin said, new consoles and their eye-candy would be unseen on anything else...

You can hear a similar gunpod effect in the DYRL? game, which is to me, a better version of the original effect. What was wierd about the DYRL? game though, is how the gunpod effect would sound off "after" your gunpod had finished firing...

I like those gunpod sounds. The gunpod sounds from Yukikaze were neat also...
