    Had a wonderful time at the con! All the events were awesome. Loved all the displays. It was an honor to see Tenjin and his panel was great. The dinner was also amazing. Mari's concert was great. It was also cool to see Nonaka. I always love watching him do his artwork. I was lucky to be able to nab one of the pieces! To the staff, Thank You for all your hard work! Can't wait till next year!

    I actually had a reference when I requested that sketch from him. I'm pretty sure he didn't know the series or character. But I think he did an awesome job. He's an amazing artist! LOL! ...and thank you everyone for the kind comments. I'm glad you like my collection room.

    Thanks Save! Is there a website link with the info? I'll have to look into it. Maybe there's a curse for sheryl products...first the sheryl macross f club shirts they had to recall for the funny spelling and now the dolls..lol...

    yea, i was wondering if they would do that.. mine wasn't too horrible...but I was wondering what they were thinking with that vinyl shorts and a soft body doll..yea duh it will stain...but since I don't live there, it's too much trouble for me to return it. is megahouse going to do a replacement thing then? how does it work? if it's not too bad maybe i'll try and do it.

    I got my Megahouse Sheryl doll this weekend..whee!!!! http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt221/e...nt=IMG_2565.jpg It looked much nicer than I thought it would. When I first saw pics of it during pre-order I wasn't too impressed but I'm a sucker for limited, so... But I'm definitely glad I got it...can't wait for the Ranka doll which is due out at the end of the month.

    if ur definition of loli is liking flat-chested/prepubescent girls, regardless of age that's true (which is probably how most define it; ex. kodomo no jikan is prob a series that most people would associate as loli)...but for me i guess the age still matters...but with anime, it of course a little more removed from reality. plus in anime the way characters interact, it makes you forget they're actually supposed to be teenagers. As for Mylene, don't get me wrong, she's one of my favorite macross characters, but I dunno some of the official art and even the end themes my friends and dakedo baby had pretty suggestive images for someone that's supposed to be 14..that was something that really struck me when the series came out years ago when i was in highschool...then again it depends how you define loli and certainly mylene was not drawn to look child like...but she did act a little childish sometimes... edit - i guess with my initial post i probably should have added that for the most part every macross series has always had a young female main character, who is sometimes subject to some fan service- so perhaps loli is not the right word to use here...

    lol... um lynn minmay? she was 15 when the series started... ranka's atleast 16... Mylene was even younger at 14...Mao was 11 in Zero...
