I agree that the term G1 came after G2. However, Hasbro marketing their 1988(or so) toy line as Generation 2 automatically implies that what came before it is, in fact, Generation 1. I can tell you that, during the devoid-of-new-episodes Generation 2 run, I often grumbled about how Generation 1 was better. And that was pre-Dreamwave.

It's one of those things that can't be over-analyzed or it unravels like a cheap sweater.

The two thousands would get my vote. Next decade should be the twenty-teens. Has a nice ring to it.

Yep. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I was worried it might be repetitive like the first, but luckily it's not. Apparently the developers said AC2 is the game they intended to make the first time out.

I'm tired of Sylar, too. Maybe if his powers were toned down like Peter's it might make him interesting again. But a demi-god serial killer is a bit much to take. So is the eyeshadow-wearing carnie, for that matter. Also, there's far too much build-up this season. If the finale is anticlimactic, I'll seriously feel cheated.

Hasbro has really dropped the ball on their brand. It's no coincidence that their marketing goes into hibernation whenever a TF movie hits theaters or shelves. What harm could it possibly do to let fans know what's down the road beyond Bay's little project?

Whoa. Your interpretation is off, GT. I can see by the way I worded it how one might get that impression. However, saying "A hint of ethnicity that I can't put my finger on" isn't the same as saying "Not white, but ethnic". Maybe "A hint of an ethnicity" would've conveyed the message better. Long story short, not racist. Who knows? If I'm a "bad person", it's not for that particular reason. But yeah, super-psyched about this movie.
