  1. LOL! Well played, sir. Certainly wouldn't have guessed that.
  2. Right. The kid that plays Aang. He doesn't appear white to me. Facial features have a hint of ethnicity to them that I can't put my finger on. I've seen these pics before. My first impressions for the other three: "Zuko should've been played by an Asian guy. Although the kid that got the role is pretty talented." "I assumed Kitara & Sokka would be played by Innuit or Polynesian actors. Not what I expected, but I'll roll with it."
  3. Whuuuuh? I may be off the mark, but the kid in the trailer doesn't look white.
  4. Loved the series. Can't wait for this one.
  5. Totally understand where you're coming from. But I was looking at them as toy lines... without the complications that come with story & characters. And in that sense, Alt/BT has a much broader line-up than Yamato's Macross and doesn't sacrifice much in the way of complexity or quality at the end of the day.
  6. There were enough molds to make it a full line. Problem was there were too many repaints. It feels strange to say that since I own several valks, which have more repaints per mold than any line I know of.
  7. Alt/BT was my second favorite line just below MP. They were like the epitome of Classics before Classics existed.
  8. The only way I'd touch a ROTF Devastator. Although the Photoshopped colors kinda cast a bit of doubt about the announcement's authenticity. It's odd. Hasbro's quality and paint apps seem to drop dramatically as the figures get more complex. Or maybe it stays the same, but is more glaringly obvious due to the increased size.
  9. You can extract them from this theme if you want.
  10. They're OK with you requesting more than one part. But if they get the feeling you're just trying to score spare parts, my guess is they'll probably ask for some kind of proof you actually need the parts. Again, that's just a guess. Shoot them an email. Couldn't hurt.
  11. Good point. Beagle's Mospeada line is an example of what can go wrong with that.
  12. My sentiments exactly. Also, he was designed alt-mode first for the movies. Why not for the toys as well?
  13. I downloaded it years ago. Interesting game... definitely worth playing.
  14. Anybody have Shadowrun? I know it's kinda old, but damn is that game fun! Totally worth the $10 I paid.
  15. I could get on board with that.
  16. Heh...I totally missed that. The undercover cop had me crying with laughter.
  17. Thanks dude. I probably shouldn't tip my hand, but the jeep was intended to be the G.I. Joe VAMP.
  18. Nobody mentioned "Butters' Bottom B."? That episode was funny as hell.
  19. Bah. I hate Walmart exclusives. There an absolute nightmare to locate. (by conventional methods, anyway)
  20. I tend to sketch when I should be working. The other day this VF-1J and a little buddy just appeared on the page. Please forgive any detail errors.
  21. I liked it. And I'm sure plenty more did as well. People tend to be less vocal about things they like or things they are neutral about. I see it like this: Most people wouldn't typically say "My foot feels great today." But most people would say "Ow! Quit stepping on my foot."
  22. Yes!! Thanks alot. I've been trying to figure that out for years. The game seems to have not aged well, but glad I finally know its name.
  23. Question: Does anybody remember a side-scrolling Macross arcade game? Controls were a joystick and 2 buttons. Button 1 = shoot Button 2 = Jump Hold Button 2 = Transform to Fighter I played it once around 1984 at a Chuck E. Cheese. I'm pretty sure I hadn't been introduced to Robotech yet, although the coolness of such a game did not escape me. Any info or memories of it would be great.
  24. I was hoping, is all.
  25. "too"? Does that mean their robot forms combine?
