  1. QUOTE

Y'know, I have to wonder how anyone can complain about how the VF-2SS looks when quite frankly, the VF-4 is only sexy in Fighter mode. Its Battroid is a freakshow of top-heavy, "how much can we interfere with the range of motion for the arms with these giant fins srupting from the shoulders?" insanity. It's not beautiful, or graceful; it looks almost wrong alongside the sleeker Battroids of a VF-1, or -11, or -19. I don't think the VF-2SS is nearly so out of place as so many people are claiming, especially when standing next to a VF-4.

I totally agree here. Also, the VF-4 in battroid mode reminds of the villain from Mospeada! Then again, not much you can do from its design anyways.

Agent, where did you find this QUOTE?

I can't find these comment in this thread...?!

    <_<

  2. While I'd prefer a VF-4, I voted for 0D based on likelyhood of actually being made. C'mon, it's delta-winged---that's rare for a VF.

I'm surprised at the VF-2----I still don't "get" why people like it so. Like the VF-0, it just seems to be a tweaked VF-1 to me. (the 0D though, is a practically a new design)

I am also surprise at the VF2ss too, popularity of the Macross II serie is hardly high. And I still think the Bandai VF2 model-kit can offer pretty good value anyway... However, don't get me wrong, I like the look of the VF-2, it would be my second choice of the list. VF-4 is still my favorite of all.

Anyway, Ilove this photo... let's see the VF-4 again. ;)

  3. Let's have a look at the mighty VF-4 Lighting III

VF-0D looks pretty similar to the 0S ad 0A. I love Zero, I would much perfer to see the 'reactive armor' for the 0S.

Bandai had done VF-17 and VF-19 (Basara) toys before, hardly perfect, but they are there... also some modelkits too.

VF-2SS is an odd ball. It looks good, but not a Kawamori design. It also have a fairly well Bandai model kit in the market.

VF-4 is the only one being left out for all these years

Guys, it is a longshot... VF-4 ia a Legend.

Just vote for your heart. B))

  4. Always treat these kinds of problems as similar to the question of what position it would be best to have sex with Pamela Anderson in - and then the answer becomes obvious. To quote Ahnold at the gun shop in Terminator...:

    "All."

    Pete

    Arnold said 'Wrong!' :p

Seriously, who wouldn't want them all. Just get the one you like the most first (if you can afford it).

    My personal order:

    VT1 first

    VE1

    M & M the last.

  5. Poll choice added.

To be honest, guys even though the VF-4 is one of the choices under consideration, it is an extreme longshot, as due to the lack of variants to milk the mold.

VF-4, I know it is a long shot...

The thing about the VF-4, it is like a legend. It only apprears in a few second in Fashback. No one ever see its transformation in motion.

However it is the last Valk that really relate with original heros - Hikaru and Misa. Everytime you wonder what happen to them, your mind will go with the Megaroad and VF-4.

I really hope Yamato will understand that is the 'Legendary hero' Valk that many Macross fans would like to see it to make into a toy that it really deserve. :)

  6. Had this in another thread but since I did it with a flexi stand.

This is the most 'creative' photo I have seen in this thread. also make me laugh. Awesome!

Well, I hate UPS, but FedEx is okay. Their tracking tends to work, and more often than not if you have a recycling bin by your door, they'll screw policy and leave the package by the recycler, out of view from the street. That's what happened to my last ship of Japanese import.

And this note of USPS, this is true. I'm no more than 5 minutes away by bicycle from my post office.

Yes, UPS suck in Canada too!
