    What is everyones take on not painting there kits? I have never been a good painter and now with my hands shaking a bit do to the meds i take I do not bother painting them and putting the decals on. Is there anything I could do to make them pop a bit? They look good unpainted but just wondering if there is anything else I could Thanks, Mond

    I am wondering if someone here could help me with this dilemma. I just upgraded my old Tube TV to a new HD TV and switched over to HDMI. The problem is my older Sony receiver while having 2 HDMI ports on it they only support sound through the TV and not the speakers (go figure) for that I need to use the digital optical ports. Not a big deal with my Blu Ray Player as it has an optical out but my XBOX 360 does not My question is since I am running the HDMI cable from the receivers monitor out port to the TV and the TV has its own digital out port can I run a digital audio cable from that back to the receivers optical in port for that video port which is in this case video 2 (video one is for the Blue ray and the optical cable runs from the player to that) I hope this question makes sense.     I am not sure if this is the right tread for this so I apologize if it is not. I have a dumb question I have a receiver with 2 HDMI ports which I would like to use just for the reason it would clear up some of the rat nest in the back of my stereo. The problem is that I do not have a HD TV connected to that so is it possible to use the HDMI ports for my Blue ray and Xbox but the output to the TV will be component is this doable? Also can anyone recommend a good component switch that is reasonable priced for under 20 buck I only need another 2 ports Thanks in advance

    This is probably going to sound like a stupid question but I figured I would ask just in case I am wrong. I want to replace the 400 watt power supply on my Asus computer with an 850 watt which will be powerful enough to let me upgrade to a decent video card. What I need to know is this is as simple as removing the old one and replacing it with the new one there is nothing special I need to do or know? I am also having a little difficulty trying to figure out how to deactivate the onboard video card. For the life of me I cannot find anything in the Bios to deactivate it. Do you need to do this on newer computers or is there a jumper on the mother board I need to look for or due I just plug it in and deactivate the old on via windows. I have an Asus CG5270 Essentio running Windows 7 Thanks, Mond

My Lovely wife it letting me use our Best Buy charge to pick up a new computer tonight so I have been doing a little research and I think I have narrowed it down to two. So I need a little feedback on what I am looking at.     Stupid question about SATA drives. While I am waiting to get the funds together for a new PC I have decided to get a new HD for my computer since I am tired of having to remove items such as MP3 and Video Files all the time when I want to add some new music or download. My Question is my MB has 2 SATA 1.5 gb connectors both being use with a 300 GD and 200 GB so I was looking into upgrading the 200 to a 500 GB or eve a 1TB drive which are 3.0gb. Being the computer caveman that I am I do not if I can use a 3.0gb drive on a 1.5 connector. Any information and/or recommendations on this would be great. Thanks, Mond

    Okay I am starting the process to build myself a new computer since My current one is giving me trouble. But to be honest I have not built one in about 4 years and I am not even sure what is out there. My current rig is a 3.2 GHz P4 with 2gig of PC3200 memory. Sound Blaster Audigy and an old AGP card on a Intel 865PE Perl motherboard with Built in Network card. Using the questionnaire listed earlier Desktops and Servers 1) What is the intended usage of this system? Pretty much a little of everything 2) What operating system will you use? To save money at first it will Run XP but I will upgrade it to Windows 7 at some point 3) How much are you planning to spend or what is your intended budget for this system? I would like to spend in the area of 500 to 700 when all said and done and I have 200 to 300 right now to spend at first. 4) Do you intend to buy a pre-built or a DIY (Do-It-Yourself) system? I like to build them my self Since my job pays me once a month this is going to be a work in progress build. I would like to buy the basics first. I figure I can use the current HDs (both Sata), DVD burner (IDE), and Sound card not sure about the case as I would pass the old computer down to my kids depending on it current ailments. So I guess I need Motherboard, Processor and memory recommendations I would like a few Sata connections on the board as my current board only has 2.

    I am not sure how the game is selling but I purchased the most recent box set with plastic miniatures and the figures are really nice a lot better than the previous plastic figures they had released. While I would love to see the unseen again as they were there when I started playing back in the Battledroid days I understand where HG is coming from but I also cannot understand why the 2 parties cannot come to an agreement about them so everyone wins.

    I was going through an old box of books and I came across a comic I bought ages ago called Questar illustrated science fiction classics. So I read it and came across a story called "Call Me Joe" by Poul Anderson. It reads an awful lot like Avatar does anyone know if Avatar is based on this or not?     I need an opinion on something. I might be getting and older 50 inch rear projection TV for free. Chances are it is not HD but it works but the GUNS? inside it need to be cleaned. Does it seem worth it since it would be an upgrade from my current 19 inch TV or should I forget about it. Money is tight so a new HD TV is out of the question for at least a year or two

    I have to admit I was a little underwelmed by parts of the season finale. The First 2/3 or so were strong but the last act really lost it for me. I plan on watching it again but some parts ruined it for me Kara just disappearing what the frack was with that, what happened to her being the harbinger of death? Lets abandon tech and go native? Okay I can understand keeping a low profile but come on with the flash-forward to today it sounds like in the end they all died with nothing to show for it. I mean they fought tooth and nail to survive and in the end it seems like they just gave up. And what happened to Hera? She was someone who was hailed to be the savior of the human race only to die as a child and her bones found in the future next to her parents Personally I think I would have preferred them showing the fleet arrive and then fade to black. I have heard that when this hits DVD it could be longer does anyone know if this is true
