    Saw the movie today. I was a bit underwhelmed. For an invasion force, they have a really infantry heavy ground force. There wasn't anything particularly impressive, though that missile launcher was alright. It behaved more like a towed gun though, and not a real walker.

    As long as it's designed correctly. From what I heard, the Fukushima plant had various design problems (such as being right at the coast, so a tsunami was an eventuality rather than a possibility).

    I was watching Madoka recently after reading about it's mind-busting plot. Sadly it looks like the show's broadcast has been canceled.

    Its because HG and Toynami can only pump out "new" designs based on a 25 year old series.

    If they follow the standard pattern, the next thing is an OVA featuring more militaristic themes (M+ with it's fighter research program, MZero with its attention to intense dogfights). I would rather that they explore more of the destroids, maybe an update of the Octos from MZero.

    It would be hilarious interesting if a sick person was injected with "extended-self" nanobots and allowed people over the internet to fight the viruses/bacteria. What would griefing be in that situation?

    Another question, the hip ball joint seems to be loose, making my toy do the splits. How do I tighten it?

    Is there a way to lock the swing bar at the hips? Mine are just floating ,making it hard to keep steady in batteroid mode.

    Wouldn't WB have to buy the animation license then? Hmm, if that happened then HG would have a plausible explanation for why they haven't done anything meaningful in the last few years. I doubt it though, WB sunk money on a losing proposition already , they probably wouldn't want to waste any more.

    I guess the 1/100 VF-29 did well enough to warrant another in the series.

    FYI, profit margin on web exclusive items is higher than retail. Bandai can sell their toys at retail price and since there is no retail distribution, they keep the entire margin. Items sold to retailers are sold at bulk rates so that retailers buy up lots.
