  1. Well after some ventures on YJA, I'd say it is about 50/50 between Yamato and consumer themself
  2. I dunno, make her phrase the sound of the other "frontier" video..
  3. Well M7 is a hit in Japan that for sure, and mecha is not the reason..
  4. probably apply some clear coat on the connector? (the sticking out part)
  5. Sorry to hear your groin is soft, my 25G still stands with FP on it for weeks without stand.
  6. The chunkies on YJA is quite cheap, less than 3000 yen for super strike ones and even cheaper for standalone valks. Guess that how popular these toys are.
  7. My small list 1/100 Toynami VF-1A Max + FP Toynami VF-1A Hikaru + FP Toynami VF-1J Hikaru + FP Toynami VF-1J Miria + FP Bandai Super Valkyrie VF-1S Roy model kit Bandai VF-19Kai Basara model kit 1/72 VF-25S Ozma Custom model kit RVF-25 Luca Custom + FP model kit 1/65 Bandai VF-19S 1/60 Bandai VF-25G Super Messiah Michael Custom Yamato SV-51 CF 1/55 Bandai VF-1A CF Bandai VF-1S Roy 1/3000 SDF-1 Matchbox version
  8. I was wondering would they consider release the missile only? That is what the current VF-25 are missing, some armament (well except Armor pack.)
  9. Yeah she should have the "Listen to my song!" facial..
  10. Do you think they could do the same for SMS custom König Monster?
  11. The stand alone is worth more than 3000 yen, so it is not as good in terms of value compare to previous release
  12. Looks like I need a VF-25F to pair up with Sheryl.. or not
  13. Because it is by Yamato, nuff said I think size matters. If you take 1/60 VF-1 then they are similar priced since they are similar sized. And demand/volume also plays up, certainly there are a lot more TF fan than Macross fan. I myself wouldn't buy a Yamato at RRP, but at 40% then I might be tempted (got myself a SV-51 for US$80 from YJA, now that much more reasonable)
  14. Don't think so, or otherwise the armor part would be lose like the DX toys. But if you are skilled modeler it could probably work..
  15. I am wondering if Yamato would do that with SMS custom VB-6 Konig Monster? Consider it fetch over 30,000 yen easily in YJA (buy now 44,000yen).. certainly more thought after than other Macross toys atm in Japan
  16. Well it doesn't cost him $130 to get a seeker like he says "Save me $100"
  17. But Seeker is bigger and more moving parts than a diecast, and if you live in USA you could get those MP SS for $40, certainly much cheaper than Yamato which is like 3~4X more expensive. Anyway MP seeker doesn't seem hot in YJA, even with 5000 yen buy now people would rather bid for cheaper instead. Henkai exclusive deluxe size Skywarp and Thundercracker on the other hand, can sell much more (around similar end price as Yamato YF-19/VF-0/YF-22)
  18. A MP seeker is not expensive, I got mine for $67 shipped, which is much cheaper than what they charged locally which is like $120+
  19. That like why get Yamatos when you could do with Hasegawa kits with much more detail and much cheaper price and pretend they do gerwalk and robot mode. Yamatos are more fun when they are at 7000 yen clearance price @ YJA than their RRP. At least it is not a huge gold sink when it broke.
  20. Probably due to the fact that Bandai doesn't have VF-22 mold, I don't think they would share the cash cow with Yamato. (that would be so uncapitalist)
  21. I think double nuts is like angel bird's distant cousin.
  22. Btw can I use Tamiya acrylic paint on the joint? Would they be the same result on thickening the joint?
  23. Yeah I am quite intrigued on that one too.
