I DO wonder if there is a larger high quality picture of his VF-1J Gerwalk before all the white out was applied! That version is shown in the Imai 4 Type Series of kits. The VF-1J had to have its arms removed to line up with the others in the series. The VF-1S and the VF-1A were done by Suziki, the VF-1J was Takani

I dug around and found my Takani Wonder Style book I looked for the unreleased, and it says there was the 1/100 Factory. I did not know that that drawing was done by Takani! I thought it was another artist for some reason. Another one listed as unreleased was this Nichimo, but it was released-so perhaps the book had a typo.

So this is great...they keep the illustrations as large as they can... And then add in all the meta data/descriptions on a different reference page. Awesome! I approve of this format

Oh! I totally forgot about the sides of some of the Imai boxes! They are including those in the book-awesome! Was the side of Kamujin and the 1/100 Super Battroid

That Regult is Toshimitsu Suzuki, so perhaps those are other illustrations that were going to be in the unreleased TIA Macross Illustrations volume 3

I love seeing these resin kits being built instead of how they just sit on my shelf heat cycling with every passing season! They are awesome to see completed and out in the open the way they were meant to be seen.

Doing a quick inventory of what has been released, I think we are quite strong on the TV series, with only 2 from the movie front. What is left on the TV side? Max & Milia VF-1J , VF-1A brown, VF-1A Kakizaki On the Movie side we have VE-1 and VT-1, VF-1A brown, Max VF-1A, Hikaru VF-1A, Max VF-1S, and the VF-1J GBP Yellow Tip Missiles Did I miss any? We did see the custom colored GBPs in Max and Focker styles at the toy show a couple years ago...maybe those will be in the list? And the Mechanic Special Clear Fast Packs I think they'll do a VF-1A Cannon Fodder with combo TV and Movie Heads now that we are all about exchangeable parts next. The 40th DYRL anniversary is coming next year(2024), so maybe they'll do something special for that one (VE/VT)

Anthony sent another video, I'll upload it tomorrow. At the end he opened a random box on the stack... An Imai assortment box Inside....WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That box is 2 layers deep (10x4)=80 total, all NOS. It is literally a time machine back to 1983.

Going into the MW Wayback machine...had a request to see if I had the old wall of takatoku/bandai pic from 20+ years ago I think this was it...who's collection was this? I can't remember.

Good to hear we are all in the same boat...misery in numbers is much easier to accept! If any of us do get our kit in let the others know!

I ordered mine from HLJ back in October, but only have the decals in the private warehouse. Anyone else order through HLJ and not have theirs yet? I can wait, just seeing if anyone else was in the same boat before I bothered their support team

Thanks for the all the stories and info! I was dumb enough to not make the connection between 'Robot Tek'and 'Robotech'...of course! I found another pic of the 1/100 Takatoku model kit. I think this was the one your friend was describing, maybe just a mis-remembering of the gunpod firing since it was so long ago and there were probably other 1/55s they had http://wooroemae.com/zeroboard/zboard.php?id=menu_03_bbs&page=50&sn1=&divpage=1&sn=off&ss=on&sc=on&select_arrange=vote&desc=asc&no=818&PHPSESSID=84be942dd9704564a65e6e184ab143e6

I've never seen them actually attached to anything-great find! All the sets I ever see are always loose (but still together with the stickers)
