  1. G'day plastic hackers and resin bashers! Man am I glad to be back and I thought I would share this commission build for one of the board members. But a quick history on the kit first. About 10 years ago Captain America sculpted his first Tactical pod complete with interior. It was a thing of beaty and blew away the old Imai/Bandai plastic kit which was prett scarce at the time (as well as scaling out at around 1/100 if I remember correctly). With the first run sold out the good Captain went on to produce the rest of the line up with several reissues over time. In late 2015 I ne
  2. Not sure if anyone has posted this, but I was roaming around taobao when I found this out: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.1-c.w4004-15920461423.12.1751f25485NRch&id=559139031898 They're the same guys who made the ko 1/60 valkries and wasn't sure if this is legit or not. Yamato had a limited release on a kit I think, and I'm not sure if they're taking that design, or they're making new stuff, like the render suggests. Also, is the price $140?
  3. I won't bore you with my reasons, but it all needs to go; the list further below is everything that’s left in my model kit stash. It breaks my heart selling some of these, but I'd rather see them go to another MW member to enjoy, then to have them sit and rot in storage not knowing whether I will ever build another kit, let alone 80+. Prices in USD (per kit): Now, before you Rage Quit MW or die of laughing after seeing my prices, realize they are all inclusive - all you pay is the price you see, nothing more. Shipping: I will ship to Canada/US only. Payment: PayPal
  4. Hello All, since the admins have re opened registration I thought it would be best to sort out an account. In short my wife and I have started our own little label selling kits - the first of which are patterns acquired from the man himself Captain America. This is something really cool that we are really enjoying and have a lot of great ideas for stuff we want to produce. However for the moment we are offering (all in 1/72): - Regult (both with and without cockpit) - Regult Missile Carrier (Light and Heavy) - Regult Scout - Gnerl (with Pilot) All kits come with
  5. My take on the DYRL zentran mecha scheme on 1/144 scale .. Like, really old models. Arii and Bandai brittle plastic and decals to pull my hair at every turn
  6. Hi guys, I'm selling this Macross figures and model: 2 Hi-Metal R regult - SOLD 1 Arii Glaug 1/72 model kit, many pieces cut and presented together, some glued, some not, complete, box shape 8.5, $110 shipped with tracking number.
  7. Hey all, I'm looking for the following Mospeada Toys. I'm hoping some of you are doing the upgrade to the ET Legioss and won't find yourself with a need for these any more. I'm also hoping somebody bought a HMR Missile Regult set and has decided the HMR line is not for them or that they'd rather have some scratch for other releases: 1) Bandai Hi-Metal R Missile Set 2) Bandai Hi-Metal R Regult (the first release) 3) a green or red MPC or Aoshima Alpha/Legioss, preferably in like new condition. 4) A green or red CM's Legioss/Tread gift-set, preferably complete in like new condition.
  8. I wasn't sure weather to put this in the fan works section or here. But I decided here since I know what is inside It's a one off advent calendar that we made just for a bit of christmas fun. At any rate I can't wait for December 1st!
  9. Hi everyone! Good news for all of us, someone who runs a company named Return to Kit Form bought the masters of the most desired and iconic kits from John Moscato, The Regult, all variants, regular, missile launchers and scout, so they are back right now, molds are being done and the list for pre-order is open for all regults, so you can order yours right now, here is the link, the more you guys join in, the faster we get those kits in our doors. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1871495339767907&id=1664024260515017 We've been waiting this cha
  10. Hi guys. I'm putting the masters for my 1/72 Moscato Hobby Regult series up for sale, that is to say, the masters for four (4) different regults: regular full-cockpit variant, heavy Regult (light missile) carrier, heavy Regult (large missile) carrier, and the tactical scout. The masters for the pod parts are different for all four and the masters for the legs are all the same, hence the need to sell them as a package. Essentially, you will get: -physical master-patterns for all four variants -the original instruction files for each -original decal artwork for all variants -if desired, the
  11. Hi guys! Spring has sprung, and with that comes spring-cleaning. I’m offering up the master-patterns of some of my best MOSCATO HOBBY kits from both Macross and Mospeada for the other kit-makers out there who would like to continue the legacy, as well as for those who enjoy my models. Most of the logistical work is already done for you: the master-patterns require little (if any) prep-work prior to molding and some components come with sprue gates already attached. You get the original instruction files, print-ready box artwork if desired, promotional pictures, and for the mechs that ha

  14. Metal Box is developing a new adition to their Macross SD collection: The Reguld! I don't know you guys, but I been waiting for this for a looong time. More info in their webpage: http://www.metal-box.jp/mb/?id=1286
  15. Old school kit, with new school tooling. This is the Bandai rerelease of Imai's old 1/72 Regult kit. Even though it has new tooling, it's still an old school kit. Be ready for a lot of puttying and sanding!! Since the Zentradi didn't know anything about maintenance, I wanted to make this look like it's been in action a few hundred more cycles than it should have been. More to be seen at the regular place.

  17. I'd like to try my hand at making this costume, but I may be in over my head. I have no experience with engineering or sculpting, but I think the idea is sound. I'm just unsure of how difficult it would be, not to mention how expensive, to make such large pieces. And what is the best material to work with? Resin? Fiberglass? Any advice?
