  1. Thanks for the kind words. I kept a vf-22 for myself, but the rest are listed on ebay. I can't wait until they make the VF-1, and hopefully some others as well
  2. I've been meaning to do these customs ages ago, but have been busy with a new family and new business. Anyways, here they are: Low Viz 19, Stealth 11B & VF-22! I should have posted a comparison pic with the 21, so you could see the different shade of blue used for the 22.
  3. You have to play with the side shoulder hatches, shifting and rotating them so they sit "just right", and then the central hatch fits snug, but no click.
  4. 1/60 = 10 pcs. 1/48 = 2 pcs. my two 1/48s are custom jobs
  5. The cellphone and the green creature were made from scratch (super sculpey), while all the other parts were just me repainting various Pinky Street doll parts. (Yes, go figure, I'm 32 years old, married, have a son, and I collect Macross toys and a few Pinky Street figures?!?). The hair was a bit of kitbashing though.
  6. Here is my latest custom Ranka Pinky Street doll, and I decided to make a binch of accessories too, like her phone and the little green creature that chases her around. I even went so far as to make the "boob" buns she embarassingly served one episode. Enjoy
  7. I was going to post my own custom Ranka Pinky Street doll, but I guess I should do that i another thread.

    More Customs

I downloaded an image, touched it up, then printed it on sticker paper. If you print up the attached image here, just buy adhsive paper to print it up on and then cut them out with an exacto or scalpel.

    More Customs

Here are pics of my latest 3 customs. The VF-1S Stealth is from a few months back, but I just touched up some of the small details. The VF-0A and the Rau are new. I tried to make the Rau head like the heads from Frontier.
  10. I remember waaay back when I just heard rumblings of a toy company planning on making a YF-19 toy in 1/72 scale. I was sooo excited, and now your pic reminds me that they (Yamato) has made 4 of the 5 toys you modelled, and the only one I don't really care for is the original 1/72 that I was so excited about early on!
  11. I was just digging through old pictures as I'm in the process of selling many of my non-macross toys on ebay, and I found this one of my on Aquarion figure from Bandai. He's long since been sold, but he was great, very well made, and I think the new Bandai Macross Frontier toys will fit in just fine with the Yamato 1/60s.
  12. Don't get me wrong I'm happy to buy the ones I want, and I can happily afford it. I only have a few years left on the mortgage, and my new clinic is going well. I don't own or play video games, I don't own my dream sports car, I don't blow my money at the clubs (anymore). I just think it's funny that even once i sell all my other toys, limiting myself to just some of my favorite items, thinking I'm being responsible, and when I sit back and add it up... ...it's still almost $2,000 (depressing and funny, but trust me, I'm sooo happy we are in this golden age for macross fans!) I should have put in my original title.
