  1. Cool pics of the first operational F/A-22. Also, if you keep reading, some of the guys here work in the intelligence industry. Lots of arguing about the F-15. http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthrea...hreadid=1559921
  2. Someone said it's twice as powerful as the X-Box 360! Wow. Quite a reversal this time. What would be cool with that controller would be if there are buttons under each finger too, so your thumbs aren't doing all the work (not talking about the R1 R2 L1 L2 buttons).
  3. Huh, I thought there was a two parter wrapping up with Robocop???
  4. Got my Scopedog and Chirico yesterday. Scopedog: Amazing toy. 300+ parts, wow! Very tall and lots of detail. The cockpit is amazing also. My only gripe is mine is a little loose, you have to balance it carefully. This is one of the best toys I've every seen. Lots of articulation. Just amazing. Gotta give it a 9. Looseness is the only real negative. Chirico: Great design except for the manboobs. If you put the helmet head on (the heads and hands pop off to switch out) you can pretend it's a girl. I give him a 8. I'd liked to have seen a better sculpt for the face, and no boobs. Picture stolen from Transfans, cause I'm too lazy to take pics today.
  5. You pay for a certain upload/download speed. As long as you don't exceed that (you can't really without hacking your cablemodem) I don't see what the issue is. The fastest I can go is 400k down and 40k up, some days, that is being used to it's fullest for hours and hours. How can they tell me not to use something I pay for. I'd just ignore the e-mail.
  6. Maybe it's the same book with a Macross Zero section added? Otherwise I doubt there's a books worth of new material since the last one.
  7. Dat Pinche Haro: Those wings are near identical to the VF-11, good call.
  8. I just stickered up my Red and Green alpha's, makes a big improvement! Anyone buy the aftermarket stickers from tmpanime yet? Pictures?
  9. Neither, no updates in 3 years... He's a pro CG artist.
  10. Totally out of porportion. The chest should be much more compact. Compare it to the head.
  11. Very cool project! I'm down for one.
  12. Aw, that chest launcher section on the 1/48 could be trimmed down some don't you think?
  13. Very funny show. I liked the last episode the best.
  14. OK, where was I... Sooo, one problem I could use help on figuring out is the reverse joint between the engine intake and upper thigh in Gerwalk. I'm still playing around with the parts I have looking for something that can fold 90 degrees, then back into the leg. The other day i was trying to see if the Studio Half-Eye solution would work, but that's a no go, that part of the leg doesn't really move on the SHE. Then I looked at the Liquid Stone version, and I noticed that they concealed that part of the leg from every picture on their website. From the one pic that you can sort of see something on, it looks a lot like my original solution (a little swivel joint that slides back into the leg). http://homepage3.nifty.com/rs-labo/yf19g.html
  15. Haven't touched it in 5 months I actually may start back up soon, it will be really cool when finished.
  16. The chest armor and shoulders on the Yamato are way too big, but the arms look ok.
  17. Hmm, I can't decide which one looks better, I think they're both a little off.
