Komilia In PS2 Ending

I just finished playing the PS2 video game, "Super Dimensional Fortress Macross," and saw an interesting thing while the end credits played: As post-Space War I pictures scrolled during the credits, a picture was shown of Max, Milia, and Komilia Maria Fallyna Jenius together. However, in the picture, Komilia's hair was coloured brown, rather than the traditional green.

I realise that different artists have shaded things differently in Macross' history--particularly the works of Mikimoto--but for an ending credits-run, one would figure that everything would be straight-forward. Do any of you have any thoughts, opinions with regard to Komilia's hair change? and why would the directors go so far as to alter this, when everyone knows her hair is green?

That still doesn't change the fact that it happened. This kind of thing is interesting to think about...if you bother. Why indeed would the game go completely along with the accepted storylines and designs, and then in the end sequence, decide to insert a single, negligible change?--I'm thinking less along the lines of a slip-up or creative design and more as to a director's conscious thought to change Komilia's hair colour.

It's a game....don't worry about it being canon. Because it isn't.

The games are just based on the story. You do not need to pull your hair out wondering why they changed Komillia's hair color.

But. Aren't Digital Mission VFX, VF-X2 and Macross M3 all considered canon? Heck. They were even included in the 20th Anniversary DVD (in the timeline).

They're all video games too.

just because a few of the games are canon doesn't mean they all are. All of the Super-CD and PCE games are non-canon (although we often place them in the MII storyline simply because mecha designs are similar), yet they feature one of the Jenius girls as well as Breetai.

No need to worry about it, probably just a simple oversight.

Bingo.

The games are based on the story. They aren't the story.

Example:

See the listings for the M3 missions? Those details just tell you what happened. They do not go into detail. That's the point.

That still doesn't change the fact that it happened.

So what if it did? Is that of any value to the story? No. So don't get all worked up about it. If they changed Max's hair color to heavy-blue/black, would that make Max any different? No. He's still Max. Nitpicking the details gets you no where. Don't worry about it.
