baronv
Surfing for Macross toys and came across this 1/100 scale, resin Varuta figure. http://www.cartoonpassion.com/mac3.html Has anyone seen this before?
Valkyrie
I've got one of those. Awful recast, cast in horrible resin. It's extremely hard resin, and it's brittle as hell. Avoid it like the plague. The same can probably said about every other resin kit of that site.
VFX
NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM cartoonpassion.com !!!!! They only sell ungodly crappy recasts that are brittle and more filler (sand) than resin. They are total rip offs!!!!

baronv
Thanks for the reply, I was this close to getting it. Anyone know of any models of the enemy ships from M7 that are good?
Valkyrie
As far as I know, no Macross 7 ship models were ever made
VFX
Thanks for the reply, I was this close to getting it. Anyone know of any models of the enemy ships from M7 that are good? That kit was a recast of the WAVE full action original. A guy from SanFran sells originals on ebay from time to time. His ebay name is 'RX93'. He's a good guy. Keep an eye out for him. Grayson72
Oh no! I haven't been there for quite some time. I used to go there in the 80's when he ran that place out of his basement up the street
Mervin
I've dealt with RX93 as well, he has a great selection of resin kits up for auction on ebay. He puts them up about once a month. The prices are reasonable too.
VF-17
I was working on this kit for sometime..... but, put it off to the side for the time being. And yes, I bought it from RX93 I actually do quite a bit of business with him. As for the kit, it's pretty good. The castings were quite sharp, and the parts fit well. The only downside is the loose joints, but nothing really major. It will stand on its own.
