Very sad. 140 movie credits to his name, though most were french based. I'll remember the first time I saw him in Wing Commander, then later in The Patriot.

Such a good actor. Had a great roll in Addicted to Love with one the greatest one-liners I've ever heard.  Awesome in the Patriot and the Core, the man just brought the gravitas!
