Jawjaw Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 It is funny that it seems like the creators made the vf-10 more toy friendly by showing swingarms and Yamato still uses removable legs.
Graham Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 It is funny that it seems like the creators made the vf-10 more toy friendly by showing swingarms and Yamato still uses removable legs. Actually, they are not really that toy-friendly. If you look at the transformation sequence in episode # 1 of Macross Zero, those swing bars are really thin. If you made them that thin on a toy, then they would not be strong enough. Of course, you could make big thick chunkuy swing bars ala the 1/55, but that doesn't really look good. Graham
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 yes but with nishikawa san...i dont think anyhthing matters...loook what he did with the 1/48 and the 1/60////got rid of the SWING bars on the sides! BTW graham is Nishikawa doing anythign for the macross line anymore? Like ya kno working on the bigger perfect transformation VF-0?
Myersjessee Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 that launch arm looks great...I only wish they had set up a way to hold a super or Strike from above...sigh...
BoBe-Patt Posted January 25, 2004 Posted January 25, 2004 that launch arm looks great...I only wish they had set up a way to hold a super or Strike from above...sigh... yeah I totally agree. I would then recreate the beginning scene in DYRL!
Toonz Posted January 26, 2004 Posted January 26, 2004 huh?! i haven't been online for 3 days and i'm so so so late for this party?! any beer left for me? i like the stand but will it hold a fighter mode with gunpod attached? hmm looks like it doesn't... not too sure about the vf-0 despite the fact that it comes with a lower price tag...got to see it in other modes though.... i'm crossing my fingers for a vf-0 made in larger scale...
