I’ve used the following:

hot water

cup of oxy clean powder

big bottle of peroxide

airtight clear jar

combine and leave it in the sun for a few hours it took the yellow off my jet fire

You guys can also post this on the "You're Yellow! VF-25 turning colours thread". Same method used as well.

Brittle plastic is more of a concern to me than yellowing.  I won't fully transform my HCM VF-1J anymore because of it.  I've seen what happens to Jetfires from that era.

I've had to repair Jetfires from that era, and sometimes it's so bad, you're better off replacing parts than trying to glue them.

Man, I should start figuring out how to 3D print replacement parts for classic toys.  Need to learn how to translate measurements into a 3D app more accurately.  A few of my buddies have been doing that with pretty decent success.
