Tochiro Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Anyone remember the spiritual successor to Wings of Honneamise that was shelved? Well, no any longer! http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-03-20/gainax-makes-blue-uru-film-with-honneamise-yamaga-sadamoto
TMBounty_Hunter Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Needs more complete staff list. A much as I enjoy occasionally flipping through the ALPHA artbook, Sadamoto and Yamaga alone aren't enough to get excited about. This have changed so much since this first came around.
Keith Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 I see nothing here not to be excited about, as such I am!
Renato Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Maybe you (or someone) should change the topic title. How many people can possibly remember that "Blue Uru" was the name of the shelved Honneamise sequel project?
JELEINEN Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Maybe you (or someone) should change the topic title. How many people can possibly remember that "Blue Uru" was the name of the shelved Honneamise sequel project? I did. Very exciting news in deed if it gets made.

renegadeleader1 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 My interest and excitement in this is still tempered by the results of the last time Gainax decided to make a sequel to a classic of theirs with Diebuster. I know it has its share of fans here, but that show to me was a god aweful mess that took a dump all over the original
Keith Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 If by that yoy mean Diebuster was a freakin' awesome & worthy sequel, then I'll agree.
Flaming Guantlet Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Wings of Honneamise sequel finally getting made you say? Well all I can is... get hype.
Lupin The Third Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I am so hyped for this. I really do hope they line up the sponsors to make this a reality.
