VF-0: chaff & flares & refuelling probe

Guys,

Just 'discovered' Macross Zero and the VF-0 (thanks VF-0 Master File).

One of the builds online has chaff/flare buckets added to the arms. Does anyone have a reference for this, or is it creative licence?

Also, any pics of the refuelling probe & recess would be helpful.

If you want to, chaff/flare dispensers are extremely universal/generic. Many many planes all use the same system. "ALE-47" is the most common/standard one I know of.

It looks as though they just used .010" styrene cutout with generic photoetched grill details. you can do it man! - MT

Thanks guys! I'm pretty confident with scratchbuilding & mods, I'm just keen to confirm whether the 'real' (anime?) VF-0 had the c/f fitted in the locations as modelled in the other link.

Wow, that person did a stunning job on that VF-0A build. I think I may gave picked up a few ideas/tricks just looking at those photos.

The Chaff /flare dispenser is located on the "backpack" it will be on the underside in fighter mode.
