Found three awesome 1/72 Destroids

The guy who built these is エムロボ, and he says the Tomahawk is an Arii, but the Spartan and Defender are based on Bandai models. All of them are scale 1/72.

The Tomahawk is great, however, I can't wrap my head around the feasibility of the shoulder blades on the Defender. To each his own I guess.

Great modelling skills, but one of the attractions for me of the Macross designs was that where possible they were designed to look like engineering solutions to real-world problems for the Zentraedi invasion. These look like fan-art. Which they are, I guess....

Yeah, seeing the Spartan without a weapon always gave the sensation of a hand-to-hand destroid, which is kind of awkward duh.

It does have several 'cannons', missiles, an anti-aircraft gun, a grenade launcher and a flame thrower, not exactly all hand-to-hand...

I know, but since its bare handed... I played with it in the PSP games, it was funny to use the flamethrower in outer space

I think it would look awesome with a gunpod.
