Yoko Nagayama's "So Far Away in the Eye", the theme song of the Five Star Stories movie. I couldn't find anything for it except for the theatrical trailer, which has the blabbering narrator, so I found a fan-made video for it instead. It kind of defines epic IMO. From this season Ano Hana is probably my favorite. In no particular order: * Ride On Shooting Star (FLCL) Nice balls-out rocking ending! * The World of Midnight (Black Lagoon) MASSIVE ASS SPOILER! AHEAD!! Beautiful, haunting, and bittersweet. Absolute perfect ending to a seriously dark, yet sad story. * Actually enjoy this one just a little more than The Real Folk Blues. There's 2 non Macross endings that come to mind immediately, and again its all about the music for me. "Lithium Flower" from GITS Stand Alone Complex.
