David Hingtgen Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 No, this not the Black Aces. Also see: http://www.airliners.net/photo/USA---Marin...-18D/1488110/L/
David Hingtgen Posted January 20, 2010 Author Posted January 20, 2010 No, I haven't ever modeled a D-model Hornet, and when I do it'll be the Bengals. (only D-model I've ever seen)
Wicked Ace Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 No, I haven't ever modeled a D-model Hornet, and when I do it'll be the Bengals. (only D-model I've ever seen) A VF-1 would look good with this scheme -- Yamato does sell the blank canvas 1/60 scale ones, in case you haven't heard.
Grayson72 Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 That thing looks so badass it's not even funny.
MechTech Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 That does look cool. The white custom markings would be a pain! Then again, use white decal paper and print the black onto it... - MT
Wicked Ace Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 The white custom markings would be a pain! I was thinking the same thing.
leading edge Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I was thinking the same thing. Are you going to use the NUNs Insignia or are you using the original UN Spacy "kite" insignia. If neither will it be a real world looking aircraft. I kinda like the idea of a UN spacy aircraft that isn't a valkyrie. It gives it a Macross Zero feel like the F-14 were given.
