Appleseed Landmate

I found this site that contains a Landmate kit from the new CG Appleseed. Price looks hefty, but it's the only kit I've ever seen. Does anyone know anything about this kit or this website??

That's the one Yamato was suppose to come out with about 2 years ago. For some reason they only released it as a resin kit.

No, I think that's just an Appleseed fan that has a store. The kit WAS available @ http://bb.bidders.co.jp/yamamotoya/

They probably got the kit at wonder festival or that site.

Yamamotoya... that sounds pretty close to Yamato toys.

I have always wanted a good landmate model. Too bad the licensed product for Appleseed has always been poo. Poorly sculpted boring poo. At least the Tachikoma is becoming reality I guess.

I wish this person offered a replica of the Gong (Deunan's sweet multi purpose gun) a la the Poseidon airsoft kit.

I suppose there isn't much info on the movie designs on the net.

I guess I can watch the DVD and take notes. I'm thinking of designing a 1/6 scale Landmate for one of the 1/6 scale figures I have. I'm in the mood for scratch building one of these.

If it doesn't work out, then I'll just create my own 1/6 scale power suit.
