Berserk for the PS2 is pretty good(assuming you're a fan). Menus/options are mostly in English.

If you're into old school, Sonic Gems. The Sonic games aren't that great(except for Sonic CD) but its worth it for the 3 Streets Rage/Bare Knuckle games. The whole game disc is in English and Japanese. Depends on your language settings of your PS2.

Saint Seiya for PS2. It's a fighting game. If you like Saint Seiya the series, you'll like the game probably.

Looking over my stack of import PS2 games, I'm not sure if there's any I'd really recommend that doesn't require some japanese knowledge or isn't available in America.

I'm guessing you already have the Sega AM2 Macross game, if not... get that.

So far I have:

Macross

Pretty much all of the gundam games (except one year war and lost war chr)

Ghost in the shell

Full metal alchemist

Macross for dreamcast

Evangelion (can't understand it)

Mai Hime (can't understand it)

Plus a few more that I can't remember

Taiko no Tatsujin (taiko drum master) you gotta be a fan of japanese songs. You can find some decent anime songs in the games but no macross yet.

Initial D is good if you are a fan of the series and like racing games.

Metal Slug is always good. 4/5 are out in teh US but 3 is only import.

yes Macross is great too.

I think the Kaido Battle series is better for that veign of racing, the physics in Initial D are utterly wacky and just plain wrong. Plus no multiplayer!
