Witchblade Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 (edited) Any behind the scenes news on one of these? I know they say release date & cost are undecided, but I've seen lots of details about 1/48 cannon fodders and armor sets here. Hopefully someone has heard something. Sumdumgai Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 The way I remember it they got put on indefinite hold. My memory might be wrong, but it's not like it would be that big of a thing, it was a piece of crap that you had to take apart and reassemble, instead of transforming it.
Ido Posted June 18, 2005 Posted June 18, 2005 "D" Is actually a Typo, it should be "A" cause the vf-0a and vf-0s are the only 1/100 toys shown by yamato, Nobody know if we'll see it ever.
Witchblade Posted June 19, 2005 Author Posted June 19, 2005 Thanks for the info. I can imagine there was a bit of an outcry when word leaked out that it wouldn't be fully transformable. Probably more than enough to kill the project. (And it's very interesting that that wasn't stated on the page- unless I misread something.) Curious that they still have it so prominently advertised (it's featured on the main page), but then again it seems that they've been neglecting their Macross licenses in favor of other things.
Nani?! Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 The 1/100 VF-0A&S were actually the only to-be-released valks that I was sure I was going to buy. The vf-1's are getting a bit old and without any macross plus valks in the horizon, I was looking forward to these. My only gripe with it was the hips joints and it was actually fixed, so it's a shame that it's out of the radar now...
eugimon Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 at the end, the sculpts looked so bad, I'm glad they put this line down. do it right or don't do it.
Waffen Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I've been waiting for this thing for years now. sux that its been put on hold probably indefinitly.
mechatek Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I would rather see these in 1/60 scale. Using all the innovations found in the 1/48 VF-1.
Ignacio Ocamica Posted July 18, 2005 Posted July 18, 2005 I'm still hoping for 1/60 Mac Zero toys Like I'm hoping for more 1/60 enemy mechs. A nice DYRL? Nousjadeul Ger is what I want!!!
