the only thing that makes the VF-1 more advanced is its compact size. looks wise the VF-0 was DEFINITLY designed in 2003 or whenever Kawamori-san drew it because it looks like an upgraded VF-1 to me, not the other way around. basically what M'Kyuun is saying.

I watched Appleseed last night on a UMD on my PSP and I have to say I was completely blown away. I thought it was leaps and bounds above Ghost in the Shell. I also grew up reading the manga and have all the technical books and I can tell you the movie definitly did not follow the comic that well, but most movies don't anyways. and all though people are complaining about the story I pretty much expected it going in.. I mean its an anime, not a Ridley Scott movie.. its got the usual "what is love? I wish us bioroids could feel it" crap but the action was incredible. I can't remember the last time i saw a movie that was so visually impressive.. the scale of the walking gunships, the colors, textures, reflections and detail all the landmates a machinery had, all the buildings and details in the pan shots of Olympus.. maybe my tiny PSP screen didn't reveal all the CG problems you guys saw where in the movie but I was totally amazed.

what also sucked about Coded Arms was the random level generation. soo annoying because lets say you died on a level. well when you back to it to try again its a completely different level and you don't know where anything is! the 'random generation' also created useless rooms that would just waste your time exploring. really annoying. i was playing it last nite tho and was having a little fun but this one may have to go on the chopping block for me. i'll probably trade in coded arms and untold legends towards 'death jr.' when that comes out. Death Jr. has to be probably the most hyped PSP game to date. hope it delivers..

Coded Arms was a pretty big dissapointment for me. I just couldn't get into it.. no matter how much I tweaked and played I couldn't get used to the controls.

I've also just bought a 256 Sony Duo Pro High Speed off ebay for $37.99 (good deal). I've got a Hori screen protector and memory card case coming in the mail and I've got the Hori 'ash black' carry case which is really awesome..

I love my PSP.. its probably the best console I've bought since the SNES. I've got six games already: Lumines Ridge Racers Wipeout Untold Legends Hot Shots Golf Coded Arms I played Untold Legends for like two weeks straight when I got it and thought it was the greatest game ever but once the repitition set in I started totally hating it. I absolutely love Ridge Racers and Wipeout, those games have soo much replay value. I still play Lumines a lot too (gotta get all those damn skins!!). I pretty much hate Coded Arms, I just can't get around how crappy the controls and "randomly generated" levels are.. argggh. Golf is fun too but I don't play it much. and next week 'Sengoku Cannon' comes out and I'm pretty sure I'll be importing it. Star Soldier is out too but I'll probably only get that one if it pops up at my local Fry's.

Bentley Continental GT coupe is ugly?? its only one of the hottest cars on the road right now.. your silly NSX can't hold a candle to that car.

just skip all the silly teenage ricer-roni and get yourself an Audi S4. now thats a REAL turbo charged, AWD, rally bred sedan (unless you get one newer than 2002 when they went to a naturally aspirated V8.)

I've been waiting for this thing for years now. sux that its been put on hold probably indefinitly.
