  1. I think those lines mark the panel lines. Don't know why though...
  2. So, an F-35B replacing the Harrier this time?
  3. Heh, that's pretty high for the Frenchies
  4. You'd scream too if you were forced to be in a movie like that
  5. Dude, that's hilarious And is that Christopher Lloyd?
  6. Ah, right, my bad, it's been a while since I last read it
  7. It was pretty awesome. Too bad Rats wasn't in it though... BTW, anyone know where I can find Cat poo One 80? I've been looking for weeks now and just can't seem to find it
  8. Darn. blocker over here as well, due to author copyright That sucks, was really looking forward to this
  9. Wait, does the prototype have TVC already? The way those nozzles are pointed down in that pic... And I seem to remember that in that vid I posted a while back they were shown moving up and down before takeoff as well. Anyway, I can see this thing being more maneuverable than the F-22 and having longer range, and with the AMRAAM's limited range compared to some of Russia's AAMs it could have a weapons advantage as well (assuming it can get a lock ofcourse). But aside from that, I found it amusing that nothing was said about the low observability/stealth characteristics of both aircraft
  10. Did they mix 'Wild Thing' (from Tone Loc) with the Smurf's theme? Why?
  11. Speaking of Saab: Saab stealth study
  12. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=32783&view=findpost&p=851767 But yeah, sexy beast. Also, is thrust vectoring already incorporated? (see around 1:05 in the video) I thought I read somewhere that that wouldn't be done until a new engine was ready...
  13. So are those the definitive production standard?
  14. Aren't the Blue Angels F/A-18s supposed to be capable of being made war-ready in 72 hours as well? I wonder if there are any similar pics of Blue Angels birds
  15. I've got to read about this. Do you have a link or something?
  16. I wonder how they shielded the engines from radar. From the look of things the entire intake and engine bay assembly is one straight tunnel...
  17. Why am I suddenly imagining Max wearing a snorkle?
  18. Possibility of Thrust Vectoring for future Typhoons? http://www.flightglobal.com/articles/2009/...or-typhoon.html Sounds pretty cool, especially the fact that they're thinking it'll help in areas other than aerial combat as well
  19. Thanks guys, glad to see I wasn't spouting complete gibberish
