  1. LOL, I totally missed that. Sorry, and thanx. Now that makes it tempting...
  2. Is that worldwide shipping included?
  3. Are the Kotobukiya versions pre-painted?
  4. Not even in MGS4? Controlling Rex in the fourth game was a dream, probably my favorite part in the game along with Act 1. I love Ray, but find it very alien looking. While Rex has that awesome crude military feel. Still as much as I love Rex, I really can't justify 500$ on a toy, which with shipping will be... 700$. If it was remote controlled and it walked then yeah. Guess some of us have to wait for a Revoltech or Tamashi version... ??? BTW, anyone here got the Kai Metal Gears of Peace Walker? How are they?
  5. A friend is borrowing his ME 1 and 2 on PC this weekend. Gonna get started with those first. ME3 on pre-order. But thanks all for the input.
  6. In the last few years during the winter wonderfest, yes true for the Macross and Gundam lines. Though their other lines were still present. Omitting Evangelion figures this year was probably to not spoil the new film. And yeah, lately they also seem to concertrate more on their Tamashi events.
  7. Does FF XIII-2 have total free roam exploration like in FF XII? Or is it still very linear? And can you abondon battles?
  8. Well I noticed Bandai was very quiet at Wonderfest this year. No big Mecha announcement, and could be following their previous pattern of announcing big items in the Japanese summer. They didn't even have anything for Evangelion, which was very strange considering the new movie for this year, and that's one of their product flagships. Though when Eva mechs are shown, my interest for Macross frontier usually slips away. Then again Bandai does have a history of leaving Macross lines incomplete, especially with Frontier. Example, those articulated pilots that they only made Alto. Then there's the Tamashi's valks, both the standard and the transformables.
  9. Finally got the Metal Gear solid HD Collection on the PS3. Playing Peace Walker now. Yes, the graphics are very much PSP, but it's simple RPG gameplay is so addictive, and massive in options. Love it. Metal Gear Solid 2 is still a great looking game for it's age, and with the HD polish is almost next gen. Though it's also my least favorite of the saga. Good thing with this version is the replay value, especially as replaying parts of the plant as Snake. And there's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Still my favorite of the franchise, and still looks a more like PS3 game than it's original PS2 release. However MGS3 was actually intended as a PS3 release game. Matters little as now this great in HD.
  10. Download material. Just to much else to watch in cinema these days.
  11. I would rather see an alternative universe of the original Macross. Brings in new fans. Doesn't ruin the originals. And Yamato will make more money from us. Though I would also like to see a Macross series where the leading pilot is a hot lesbian.
  12. The new Cheetarah figure is dreadful. As for the Episodes, I was beaten in informing the forum that they've already started airing in Europe.
  13. Probably after the new range of Gundams are announced. They take priority for Bandai.
  14. Thanks Freiflug88, I'm getting it.
  15. Well Arnold Renderer is apparently the in thing these days. Don't know it myself, but a friend that recently got a job at Weta, mastered it and his renders are something very WOW. Yeah, hearing many people in industry saying Max is better for modelling, though some of the all rounders that model in max, generally use Sofimage for rigging, and Maya for animation. I find that interesting as some companies are willing to supply three diffirent softwares. Haven't tried Max myself, but probably will soon. Still loyal to Maya, and then Zbrush for texturing and rendering. Anyway, hope to see more of these work of art of yours, and are you planning any 1S and 1J alternative heads?
  16. That is if they're planning re-issues? Were all the v1 re-issued?
  17. Depends where you are. I'm in South Africa, and lately did a back track of our currency compared to the Yen and Dollar. And we've actually gotten stronger since 2003, but inflation is still making smaller toys more expensive than the bigger toys of then.
  18. Re-issues as bundles, or just re-issues of the same Valk?
  19. Once more the supply of a popular toy is missed... Are sale's analysts that confused in this industry?
  20. Was undoubtedly the best episode of the season. Sets everything up with the characters, and the scenes during the credits does give a bit away. Also good closure in bringing Hershel into reality about the plague. However, at the end, it felt like the survivor politics in deciding who to vote off. None the less, I hope Kirkman took the upset fans' criticism during the break, and will continue in this path.
  21. Agreed. But for alot of us that are stuck with expensive shipping, that figure ends up being $500, and that's when on the collector's shelf leaves a monkey on the back.
  22. Very True, but China is damn close. Doesn't appear to be that recently. Nope, they do reflect production costs. Valid points by several members were mentioned in the thread below. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=36308 But yeah, after release it does reflects demand value, especially on ebay.
  23. Those are magic rounds only avaliable on TV shows and films.
  24. Hi Dan, A couple of questions. Is it completely modelled in Maya? What renderer are you planning to use for the final model? And are you modelling with nurbs, if so what parts? Thanks, and yeah, truly awesome!!!
