  1. Agree, I'll stick with the V.O.T.O.M.S. which I'm sure will fill up my display case quickly enough!.... I didn't buy any of the Dougrams either! But if they ever rework the Hi-Metal R Destroyd Macross line & match the quality of the V.O.T.O.M.S., I'll gladly get back in too thoughts as well!....🤗
  2. Layzner Hi-Metal R line being introduced! https://www.toy-people.com/jp/?p=108515
  3. Not really sure what the decal sheet consist off! Seems to also be multi scale! But I do know, that we now have spring, so enjoy life even if the world is falling apart! 😉
  4. The Magazine will also come with a sticker sheet, not sure what scale though!? Release is on the 25th.!
  5. Closeup & Prototype images of the Takara AT Truck! Is Rakara going to do weathered Actic gear versions? 🤔
  6. Its a neat AT, I just don't like that you have to rip the package apart to be able to put everything together on Takara's DMZ collection! I'm almost positive that the X-ATH-02 Strikedog will be released in the Hi-Metal R line next year! 🤗
  7. Hobby Japan Web, has more images of the Hi-Metal R Scopedog (Melquiya) Forces version, this is closer to the final release with the GAT-35 Long Gun, ATP-BP1-ST Parachute Backpack in the final version! Battle scenes can be reproduced! Introducing examples of the use of "HI-METAL R, Scopedog (Melquiya) Military Equipment" and "Armed Option Set for Scopedog" that are receiving popular orders! [Armored Trooper V.O.T.O.M.S] This time, we will introduce the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog Armed Option Set" and "HI-METAL R Scope Dog (Melquiya) Forces version", which are currently receiving orders from "Armored Tropper V.O.T.O.M.S", which has also announced a new anime. "Die Graue Hexe" "HI-METAL R Scope Dog" is compatible with the "Armament Option Set for HI-METAL R Scope Dog" that is currently being ordered. A newly shaped GAT-49min, 50mm Pentatrooper, SWAT-38, 9 Tube Shoulder Missile Gunpod, and SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka & ATC-BR1-S Round Mover that have been renewed to match the color optional set are included. Another title logo that can be attached to the dedicated base is also included. " It is an optional set linked to the AT that has been released so far, such as the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog" and the "HI-METAL R Scope Dog (Melquiya) Forces version", which is also being released. HI-METAL R Scopedog (Melquiya) Forces version" comes with a newly shaped log gun and a parachute zack. The scope of the GAT-35 Long Gun has a movable mechanism, allowing movement according to the turret lens. SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka, ATC-BR1-S Round Mover The SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka is equipped with a telescopic gimmick on the barrel, and the ATC-BR1-S Round Mover has a built-in sliding mechanism at the top and the movement of the vernier support. Battles between scopedogs using the armed option set. In fact, this imitates the package art of the armed option set. This time too, it is Mr. Hideki Tenjin who will work on the package art. *Note: Its nice to see the red missile, tail fins on the SWAT-38, 9 Tube Shoulder Missile Gunpod, but I looked at all the Episodes in the series and can't find a gray, SAT-03 Solid Shooter Bazooka!? Also does the (Melquiya) Forces version come with a bullet hole to the head? 🤔
  8. Mandarake has the Hi-Metal Scopedog that was released in February down too 12,000 yen or roughly $75.00 USD. For those who might be interested but don't want to spend too much!
  9. Review of Bandai's (Capsul Toy) V.O.T.O.M.S. Kind of forgot about this series..... what scale are these? 1/60 !?
  10. Just a small note to people who own the Hi-Metal R (STTC) that people might not have noticed!? But if you shine a light into the leg vents, there is a silver coloured grill visible that you don't notice otherwise! 😉 It's nice that small details like this are added although you can hardly see it! 👍🏻
  11. Can anyone explain what is up with this figure I found on Mandarake? The HMR FATTY is clear but a vinyl figure with zero articulation and 0 features going for 5000 yen more then the HMR is, for me unexplainable!? I wouldn't even want the figure for free! 🤔
  12. It's got a link to the Visit the TAMASHII NATIONS Store so I think it's official! But it still might get a Japan only release and not ship elsewhere but some do get through! I purchased an HMR Scopedog from amazon with the same link, and got it three days later.... So keep an eye out! 😉
  13. Speaking of FATTY markings 😱 With some colours you can turn it into a Gundam! 🤣
  14. Tamashii Nations will be selling the April rerelease of the Roy Focker Armour Valkerie (GBP) through Amazon! No price is given as of yet but might be a cheap option!
  15. Votoms Plastic Model World will be held on the 15 of March. This will probably be when Wave will announce their next 1/24 AT, I hope Bandai also makes some announcements as well!
  16. Likely true, but remember that anime in 1980's where drawn by hand so extra detailing or marking would be a lot of work! Since anime was also made to sell toys or models it was up to the that manufacturer to add more detail to make it look more realistic! Takara did all the markings in 1982/83 for the model kits that is mostly still used up to this day! The only slight upgrade was the ATM-09-ST 21C which used a new font for the # marking. Bandai had to do their own graphic marking on the FATTY to make it look more realistic and I think they did a good job in keeping the marking subtle! In the new OVA, Die Graue Hexe, the marking will be present right away since the use a computer to calculate every frame.
  17. Should give it your best all of the time! 😉 Just converted the new Scopedog to a RSC the colour of it is actually darker than the STTC.... the metal joints do give it a little throwback to the old Tackara toys. 😉
  18. Since they did have some of the Actic gear 1.0 with markings they should have done it with the new line..... Oh well they have to release 3.0 sometime! 🤣
  19. Thanks! But like I said could have been better colour matched....
  20. Ameblo.com has a review of the Toyr!es ATM-09-ST (Space Assault) unit! The one thing that bugs me most is that it's halve kit, halve toy but no markings The have good detail though! I find the dark British Racing Green on the Bandai Hi-Metal R is a better suited! Reviev by TAKIちゃん
  21. Bandai will be rereleasing the HG accessories kit 3-8 in May!
  22. So the May issue of Hobby Japan will be a special issue on Armoured Trooper V.O.T.O.M.S.. Not sure when the actual release is? via (X) twitter...
  23. Nin-nin with 23% off? oops out of stock! Here is a link to the series on Mandarake it hasn't shown up their yet but if I see it ill post a link directly! 😉
  24. Sorry just edited when you posted! Hope you still get the FATTY since it's even rare on Mandarake! 🤔
  25. Edit* seems yes! Did you get you're FATTY situation resolved with the massive shipping cost?
