  1. I was thinking the same thing until I remember this show aired here in south America http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Festival_de_los_Robots quick translation The Festival of The Robots, it was a kids program that was transmitting cartoon of the Mecha genre from ends of the 70's and during the decade of 1980. The Festival of the Robots, distributed by the American company ZIV International, Inc, was consisting of the summary and adjustment for Spanish America of the following 4 series of Japanese animation produced by Toei: * El Vengador (Steel Jeeg - 1975) * El Gladiador (Great Dragon Gaiking - 1976) * Supermagnetrón (Magne Robo Gakeen - 1976) * El Galáctico (Starzinger - 1978) These independent series were alternated between them and were not emitted in sequence. THAT WAS ORIGINAL
  2. The reply is in fact the most accurate comparison between the old and the new Treks I have to say it, I enjoyed the movie but in fact this new trek it's not the same thing and I hate the iBridge xD
  3. The only thing that I not like from the test escene was the cheat itself. If I remember correctly, the "cheat" was make the klingons to run away because their enemy was the "Captain Kirk"
  4. This guy doesn't even deserve a pyre... BRING THE GUILLOTINE...
  5. But then, isn't it also apply to the whole Star Trek franchise? Maybe is ludicrous, but I think is the only csi-fi saga that really inspired real inventions
  6. This is of common knowledge, but in favor to the real facts I think this could be useful http://web.archive.org/web/20040806174222/...ents/index.html
  7. The only way could be rip the streams directly on a *.sup fie or use the old SubRip software to create an *.srt I've the boxset, but I don't have the time to do even the subs for frontier...
  8. Actually the process is very simple if you use the Icarus software like in Macross 7 DVD Subs, that's is a one click process but in the case of Macross F I decided to use the "long method" because the majority of people here has the originals DVD's and duplicate the original iso file for the patch is impossible. Anyway the long method is not too way difficult and I think I provided all the additional software necessary for the process BTW, I already have all the DVD's but I'm short on time to do the merged scripts (I do not touch the file since April's 13)
  9. Maybe they are thinking on putting Fire Bomber american on the Eng dub track...
  10. I'm totally agree with you on that, the interaction you got on the weekly basis broadcast is a very good thing, I'm still remember the WTF-1 for example On the other hand you got the thing I do two weeks after the show ends, I put all the episodes on a laptop, bring a data show from the office an saw all the show on a weekend, but then you know when press the fast forward button
  11. I always see it again when I need to fall sleep fast...
  12. Because of that I always say that they should burn the heretics
  13. Something like this? http://gizmodo.com/5151166/space-battleshi...-into-lego-form http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=58795
  14. Has been a while, but here I left you the long method patch for the DVD's 1 and 2 of Macross Frontier http://rapidshare.com/files/219139348/Macr...er_DVD_1_V3.exe http://rapidshare.com/files/219139350/Macr..._DVD_2_V1.1.exe The reason for a new version of the DVD 1 is that I have several feedback from boinger concerning the songs translations. Looking on the web, I remember http://gabrielarobin.com/ and I ask mike_s_6 (MW member and webmaster of the mentioned website) for the translations that appear there, and he told me that those translations are submitted by fans, and he suggest me to visit http://www.animelyrics.com/ I went there and I found the translations, but again those are also "fan made". After a little chat via PM with boinger I decided to use the translations of that website. My reasons 1.- We'll never have the "official translations" for the Lyrics nor the show itself, we only count with the goodwill of the fans. 2.- To my understanding, http://www.animelyrics.com/ looks like a community dedicated to song translations. Even if the lyrics didn't make sense to us, why nobody has corrected them? Anyway, if any of you have a better translation for any song, I suggest to put them in that website and I'll be glad to fix the subtitles again.
  15. It's easy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnc3sGdC3pg
  16. No news for the DVD 8, we have to wait until we can find a proper translation. Yes the subs came from central anime We'll have updated versions, not for updated scripts but to correct some things like the flicker and missed characters, etc.
  17. Would be interesting that WB sues HG after the movie releasing for the IP mess xD
  18. http://rapidshare.com/files/203822680/macross7.rar Those are the original scripts from Central Anime, but I know they are correcting them for the remastered version
  19. The DVD 8 has the first set of extras and some content is unstranslated yet, so I'm looking for the translations before try to do something
  20. ADC is a website xD for the tools you need look here http://asiandvdclub.org/punbb/viewtopic.php?id=7693
