  1. Bad News, The e-mail addresses I found returned undeliverable I hope Mike's all right.
  2. I think I found MikeRB on a CGI forum and I sent him an E-mail. We'll see if he reply's I HOPE, I HOPE, I HOPE!!!
  3. I hate to say this but I have all 4 of those untouched except by yellowing. I also have the welcome package for the Robotech Fan Club that came with an Iron-On Transfer of the R.D.F. logo. I picked them up just to save to see if they would be worth something someday. I saw a couple on Ebay but no one bid on them so I want to say they are not worth the paper they are printed on.
  4. Thanks EXO. Have you heard from MikeRB Lately? He fell off the face of the planet.
  5. Still no word from MikeRB But I am still hopeful he's working on the CG Movie still. Scot
  6. Too bad that knife will never be made in mass production for all Mospeada Fans I think you should have sold it as 22nd Century Robot Fighter and made them anyway.
  7. The Viper was going into the trash in a garage of a friend back in 1991. It was covered in oil and wasn't painted. The decals were flaking off and the wings were broken. I asked Rob if I could have it and he said sure. I broke all the seams, washed the parts, and place them all in a plastic bag in the closet for about 4 years. When I got my first airbrush I remembered the long forgotten Viper and started the restoration. I needed to recreate the decals but before I could Revell Monogram rereleased the kit. Lucky for me I had a friend at the local hobbyshop that gave me a set of decals out of the box for the kit they built for the display window. And the rest is history. Scot
  8. The Viper is an original 1978 Monogram kit that I restored. The Raider is a second release made by Revell Monogram. Scot
  9. April 2005 Indianapolis, Indiana C3 will be held in April 2005 when the last STAR WARS Movie is released. As it gets closer I'll post a more accurate date and time. Scot
  10. I goto the Yahoo Group I like best. ASTROMECHS And I work on my R2-D2
  11. I just finished cutting the inner Dome door openings. It took me over 2 hours of work with a Dremel but I finished it. Next I will weld hinges on the inside before I cut the tabs holding the doors in place. Here's a photo of my progress.
  12. By the way BoBe-Patt, What's your avatar from and what is he saying?
  13. People have talked about doing that but it's a matter of getting that pie piece to open the right way. It slides back, but in Empire Strikes Back it flips open from the front when he pukes out that swamp water. The light saber would have to be made out of foam rubber with a solid plastic core. It needs to be light weight but also keep it's shape. I'd hate to see someone fire a metal one and accidently blast a hole in the ceiling.
  14. I think I heard of someone in the group using diluted water soluble brown paint and giving him a wash with it. It makes him look grundgy but it can still be washed off. Someone even make restraining bolts.
  15. GobotFool Posted on Dec 24 2003, 02:00 AM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Insanely cool. I have always wanted a full sized R2 unit. Do these guys do commissions? Sorry to say the answer to that is NO!!!!!!!!!!! They have a large resource of blueprints and some of the guys make parts like the dome, legs, skin, etc.. They range from $500.00 and up for all the parts and how much work you want to put into them. the less work the more expensive. Alot of the guys are trying to make all aluminium droids. Those range over $1000.00
  16. All we need now is a club dedicated to building Macross Mecha
  17. At first it will be static then after I have it Built and Painted I'll think about R/C. There is a group called the R2 Builders Club and the guys there make parts but sell them at cost. It ain't cheap but it's cool.
  18. Well, here ismy latest. It's a hand spun, laser cut Aluminium R2 Dome with Resin parts It will be years before I get this one finished.
