  1. ok, hmm, the brute is close, lets see if we can seal the deal... Will the arms/cannons be poseable? I can deal with the legs being in a fixed position, they have alot of weight to hold up How many parts are we talking about here? main body, cannons, arms, legs? Plus, this will be my first resin kit, so I am a newb on painting resin...
  2. YES!!! clearcoat your decals! I got some decals from Anasazi a long time ago... forgot to clearcoat... Cracked and peeling decals look crappy...
  3. hmm, $150.00 Yamato 1/48 w/ FAST packs, or this brute... tough choice...
  4. Well, I thought I was cured, the last Macross item I bought was the Yamato 1/60 VF-1S Roy Focker (pre-FAST pack), back when it was released. I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much for a 1/48. However, now things have changed, I am selling my Mac+ valks and the VF-1S to get a 1/48 w/ FAST packs ^^
  5. One of only 3 or so members from Louisiana, down home southern USA!

  10. yeah, tell us! only 1 Ebay auction, both toys going for $100.00!
  11. wow. Just, wow. Have to keep tabs on those, they look sweet. Will get the blue when they are released. Or the red. Maybe blue... --edit-- oops, they're already out...
  12. lol, no way I could part with my 1/55, it was my first (and only) custom valk, it looks so cool that I am afraid to play with it I could sell my 1/60 VF-1S for additional funds toward my 1/48, I also have the YF-21 and the VF-11B from way back in the day. Don't think I could part with the YF-21 tho...
  13. Now that I think about it, I am pretty sure it was the 1/3000 scale I had. It was Matchbox, and it also transformed
  14. Freaking Eisner has run the company into the ground. God I hope he gets fired. He has been riding the cash cow for too long, and I think its really time for a proper Disney to take over and show him how its done. Pixar left because of Eisner's antics, and they won't be the only one to leave the company if he stays in office. Heh, Toy Story 3 is only the tip of the iceberg, Finding Nemo 2 is already in preproduction. It just kills me that Pixar was the company's main source of inspiration for new ideas. Disney used to be a great name, now its been drug through the mud, ran over, and crushed under a steam roller.
  15. ok, one thing will get me o buy this game. let me fly the Swordfish II
  16. wow, I had that thing when I was a kid, I played with it until the carriers wouldn't stick to the arms anymore. I would definatly pay $60 for it. --edit-- wait, now that I take a close look at it, it does seem to be a bootleg, the red landing gear are a giveaway, the landing gear on mine was die-cast. Also, the body wasn't super-white, like this one. However, I might be wrong, mine transformed, and came packaged in a window box
  17. I also have some questions about the 1/48 line, because I am saving u to get one. Which version is the most 'solid'? I am looking at either a VF-1A or a VF-1J, since I already have a 1/55 and 1/60 VF-1S. Pretty much any color scheme is good with me, and I will be buying the FAST packs, but I will be painting them grey, to look like the FAST packs in DYRL? instead of that horrid bright blue. I know the M&M valks will be released soon, but will they come with a complete set of super/strike armor? or just a super armor set?
  18. Yeah, I remember flying the YF-19 in X-plane, it was so powerful, you really could reach atmospheric service ceiling in 48 seconds I also had the VF-1 and the VF-4. The VF-1 was tons of fun to fly, thrust vectoring would do all the work. However, the VF-4 was a different matter, it handled like a house with little tiny wings.
  19. did you just cough up a chicken? you should chew more... Anyway, I am waiting until the fire get good and hot before I jump into the fray
  20. heh heh... Looks like its time for the Lying Macross Purist to make a return...
  21. OMG! I remember the chainsaw cars! I forget the name, but you could re-arange the vehicle to different designs.. Heh, remember Robotix?
  22. I never offically 'called it quits' on the first project, but several factors contributed to the eventual fall off. 1) I am on a Dial-up connection 2) Work 9-12 hours/ day 3) Lack of communication between team members - this was the real killer. Not hearing from the project leader in 6 months really hangs things up :/
  23. Yeah, I'm in the same boat too. But it's all good, I got a buddy who just started out on Fairy server, so I'll join him
  24. Quick question guys, I just got the game tonight, and will be playing tommorrow. You all said that Unicorn server was a good server, right?
