  1. Yeah,... simple, clean, and gorgeous weathering. Very fine & good job.
  2. Wooow I´m impressed with the gamma colors, almost exactly. It´s nice to see something more than valks.
  3. That would be Cool... Why do they limited to 1/100?
  4. Exactly,... that's what Im trying to say It´s just throwing the money to the trash, investing in a very low quality toy, unless toynami did a bunch o changes and fixes on their macross line. With the first one bought, I had enuff to notice this is not a toy, but a series of tiny and fragile pieces, hardly joined together to form a very good looking valk, that poorly hold their arms up to hold the gunpod weight, or the head, due to defective or loose joints... They're not expensive, but they're minor facts that can be resolved in the desk of design, to justify the mass production of an article licensed for.
  5. Very,... very,... lucky I´ll say..., I couldn´t find any post talking about this joints in Toynami Valks, but I surprised when I rode in this thread about some reports on cracked shoulders. The first time I noticed this in my valk, it looked for me like a "special" fine line for avoiding future stress in the plastic, but now, I´m sure, it´s a very bad QC issue, cuz the piece is very small, and the bit on the arm is almost exactly the same size of the hole, so when they assemble it, the plastic fails. Maybe u got a second row of fixed details on this, like Yamato´s doing with the ZERO line.
  6. Hi. The Plastic seems to be good in Quality, and love the color, but I think the joint in the shoulders is Badly designed, or is not an adecuate small piece for the stress it supports, since I opened my 1st wave "Hikaru's Vf-1A", and tried to transform it for the first time, both arms separated easily, and noticed the fine line breaking this tiny piece... I thought it was my fault , but all evidence is pointing to the BAD fit between the parts, the bit one is bigger than the hole... then I decided to never buy any other of this -Toycrappy- Valkyries. Yes, the arms don´t fall, but some day will do... Any newz about if this is gonna be fixed in this new releases?? Any1 reccomends a glue for this issue or a fix? TY.
  7. Hi, I never looked closer to my 1/48 Vf-1s, and I noticed these failure in the exhausts, left side don´t fit when closed... Any1, noticed this? Or is just mine?? Well, this is a QC fact about paint,... and I tought my Yamato was perfect... These looks like someone scratched or sanded this piece after assembly, a finish hand detail, but they don´t look the same in both sides... On the left side, looks crappy: They're minor details, except for the exhaust opening, but Just wanted to share,... Any recommendations?
  8. Well, the 1/48 VF-1s without FP will always spread adrenaline in my blood, coz´ size does matter¡¡¡¡¡ And it's a classic.. Vote¡¡
  9. Hi,... Look closer, it says 1/48 ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ 1/48 is not dead ¡¡¡
  10. YOOO HOOOO¡¡¡, 19 is stompin' tha 21'
  11. Agreed ¡¡¡ Very few days to launch... Could they do it???
  12. I´m looking forward the YF-19, I´m in love with the fighter version, and is a great battroid in shape. I´ll buy it very soon. The 21 is a impressive fighter, but the battroid reminds me a robot monk (blue cloak), inexpressive head, and an impossible gerwalk mode (for me), due to the relative weight of a ship this size..
  13. I think, Yamato's 1/60 line is a "test" for a future PT VF-1s, So, if they can sculpt an -almost- perfect Valk in 1/60, Imagine a 1/48 with such innovations. Maybe, bigger and impressive non-removable articulated hands, non-removable air intakes, the rotating seat... is not impossible¡¡¡¡ For now, Yamato is very happy making money, selling a 1/60 valk at the price of a 1/48.
  14. Yup, but in an anime, you can even transform a Boss Borot in a YF-19 Fighter in a few steps, that´s why I liked de 1/60, cuz gives a fine shape to the fighter mode. In a way, there's a good reason to make a "bulbous" YF- in this case, being a non-transformable figure.. Well, now that I see the comparison between the Rev's and GN-U, I'm impressed with that flexing angle in knees and elbows, ¡And they're ABS¡¡¡ I'm very close to chase this new line if I see an enemy mecha coming... Any newz 'bout it?
  15. That YF-19 looks obese, always liked the YF-19's skinny legs, but in this one... phew. Can't imagine why Yamato authorize this shape. The internal skeleton is not an excuse. Still, in package looks great.
  16. Yup, even Banpresto's 1/1??_ called their Valks "PT", but this 2.0 1/60 Vf-1s is far from PT since that pair of hands are included in the set.

    Macross Revoltech

Sort of.. But... -Dreaming- is free¡¡¡

    Latest custom.

WOW, AMAZING...¡¡¡... Sorry about my ignorance, ¿Where those hands came from?

    Macross Revoltech

I completely AGREE with U about Revoltech Quality, nothing brilliant, just the joint click-technology, but I noticed the samples in those exhibitions are much better in quality than the finished product, obviously the mass production system isn´t perfect, but I expected more QC in my Super VF-1s. Maybe not as worse issue problems as yours, but bad luck too. ¿What are those initial sample models made of? ¿Why are they so fine and sharp? I understand they need to smooth those angles for a better extraction after injection, but this model samples are exactly, the selling image of the product, wich is a trick for best selling it, like all gashapons. I´ll wait for 1/100 toynami YFs, if possible.
  20. Every toy company is completely ignoring how profitable is this spaceship, ¿Why are so few SDF-1 models? It is the ICON for this series... I´m not rich to buy the Wave's 1/5000 . I´ll dream with a model that size ur saying,... hoping, will be cheaper, being just a plastic model. Hasegawa would be nice¡¡¡
  21. Thanks, it was just paint and glue, very few decals included in this kit. I´ll try to build another with a better finish, like sanding and filling those open lines between pieces, I´m very far from the good modelers, but it´s a great shape the SDF-1 has, no matter how small or well painted is.
