Hi just wanted to share, before this model leaves my home (I sold it) I know it has no adds-on or customizations, My desire was to paint it like the cartoon colors, just to notice, It looks great, no matter the size.. I'll buy another in a few days, maybe another gamma or modifications will make this model a little more accurate. Hope U´ like thm.

I think in the past, Bandai made their best, trying to cast the figures we always wanted in our hands. They created standards in QC, today are the minimal a consumer demands. Then Yamato and Toynami took previous jobs an ideas, and remastered them, giving up a much expensive and delicate toy. I agree with you about joints, Bandai designs rude toys, for a long last.

Ha, haaa, I´m building this one too,... the scale isn´t helpful, but all that tiny pieces u added, really look great (and more rusty). What are made of? plastic? The carrier control tower is totally new hand-crafted?... I noticed this model is very easy to build, but you spent many hours painting and improving it... Cool. I decided to paint mine as in the right side of the box, like a cartoon (white, blue and red). When finished I´ll post it.
