Looks ace, but I'm not enough of a Mospeada fan to hand over ¥28,000 for this T-Rex designed beauty. The worst thing about this thing is I would have to buy this twice to display in fighter and robot mode if I was getting it (sorry it's not called battroid in Mospeada right? I don't know)

As an Aussie my new go to store is Anime Export due to not charging GST (10%) on top of the item and shipping price. Also only charging upfront for the item cost and not the shipping is appreciated (AE's shipping is very reasonable and comparable to other retailers). All the others are upfront payment of item and shipping. 2nd choice will be Plaza Japan, only because the shipping has to be paid upfront. No more Ami or HLJ for me on these expensive orders. The additional 10% is killer on the end price. Also PO madness and missing out doesn't seem worth it when it was pretty breezy to get it via AE and PJ. Hmm... No My Kombini today? No Big In Jap? I just read the MB Eva scalper article (Bandai wishlist thread) and it's upsetting that the scalping has gotten so rampant. We just had someone buy 3 MB Eva from my work's webstore. WTH??? 3??? The sales team cut it back to 2 units. Gotta be a scalper too...

PO secured! ¥22970, which is pretty much SRP and the expected shipping to Australia! WOOO! Payment upfront... Need to explain to my wife about this purchase tonight.

Their price directly reflected the current market price. According to Amazon JP Marketplace it's around ¥28,000. Shortly after the PO went live, it was ¥34,000. Prices are starting to trend downward because the buyer demand is too low at that price point. Once it hits an acceptable level and all the scalper stock starts to dry up the market value to sky rocket again. I suspect NY will potentially match the market value as it progresses.

From my actual experience during the PO madness 19 hours ago that it was correctly set to order limit 1. HLJ has changed it to 20 after the item was put on ORDER STOP. Don't worry - It was not a limit of 20 that caused some of us to miss a PO. I still have no PO as my cart was too slow and item was ORDER STOP before I could complete check out. Besides scalpers have multiple accounts. Order Limit of 1 will not stop them.

That's not correct. It was set to 1 when I was trying to PO at HLJ. I know because while the site was freaking out, and my cart reset, I tried adding to my cart again, but it said it was already in my cart and at the maximum ordering capacity of 1.

even HLJ order confirmation on PO madness night is not a guarantee of a secured PO due to server issue and historically cancelling orders in recently months.

It must've been promotional pricing that Bandai offered to Amiami for the 1J, which probably also attributes to why they allowed a preorder limit of 2 for 1J, when normally it is always 1. The 1A Max is limited to 1 this time as usual. My feeling is a lower production run. and It's going to hard to secure a preorder this time.

Amiami is not an option for me now. With Amiami adding an additional 10% for Australian GST right on top, It's ¥20295, then the pretty expensive shipping which also gets GST added on top.... I think Anime Export for me, even though I will have to pay up front. Will need to ask forgiveness from the wife later.
