    I just noticed that the credits for the film at IMDB show some actor playing a "Kuukanki heitai" (Space Marine). So this and the scene of the Comet Empire Space Dreadnaught from the last trailer confirm that the movie is an amalgamation of the first and second seasons? Wow... I bet the film will be pretty long then... 3 hours perhaps?

    Well... I had trouble using it at first, but with Google translator I managed to understand the menu interface. As for the search bar, you should use wikipedia to get the proper japanese spelling of what you are looking for. For example, at first I used the "Macross" romanization... many options were displayed. However, when I used the original japanese spelling "マクロス" waay more pages of art were displayed. For Zentradi fan art I typed "ゼントラーディ" (Zentorādi). And for Macross mecha I used "マクロス メカ" (Makurosu meka).

    Well, I found some information about it thanks to Google translator... Apparently those are the works of an artist called "Inui"... At each image's page there's a little description with part of a story on it. Is about a Meltran girl who befriends a U.N. Spacy pilot and helps him through his career. The first pics have him pilot a SV-51 with soviet markings on it. Then he pilots a VF-1A, a VF-4 and finally a VF-11. I wonder if is possible the U.N. Spacy used the remaining SV-51s for atmospheric combat against the Zentradi? Here's another pic of them...

    I remember I read somewhere in the net that after the "Birdman Incident" the U.N. Spacy seized all the SV-51 fighters produced by the Anti-U.N. remnant from Macross Zero and used them during Space War I as defense against the Zentradi. Is this official? Is it in the Chronicle?
