The box underneath is in much better condition and that’s good since it should be my Blowsuperior. 

Looks more like it got squashed some rather than someone rummaged through it, since the Bumblebee is still in there.

And all of Jenius' video reviews has a link in the first comment, which makes it easy. Especially if you are going to then use BBTS to purchase said item (if still available).

Small way to pay back for all his reviews, which I've used to inform some of my own purchasing (or to discover what extent of certain things are out there) since sometime in the early 2000s. Just the other day someone claimed there was a Shadow Beta released by Aoshima/Toynami and I was pretty sure there wasn't. A quick look at anymoon.com confirmed it never got released.

I know Macross isn’t big like Gundam in Japan, so the market is smaller, but the lack of toys priced like actual toys is a bummer.  Honestly the only thing close to it is a Toynami Veritech, but even those are getting expensive. 

And fall apart if you look at them!

There are things more in the "toy" category, but they are often not as "transformable" (like the SD or joke machines) or just figures (like the bendies/super poseables).

I think I click it every time I watch one of your videos, even if I'm not buying.

That's the supposed dimensions based off of Amazon.JP listing. Still not sure how correct that is in the end, given it is saying 16 x 10 x 10. I'm definitely assuming the 1/48 scale means about the size of the Toynami/Aoshima and CMs releases. As long as it doesn't collapse after a few transformations, it is already miles ahead of Toynami/Aoshima.

For awhile, I limited myself just to Hallmark keepsakes (have a huge crate of those now- mostly Star Trek and Star Wars, but also a space shuttle and Apollo capsule). I added a few non-Hallmark ornaments when I found the Dr Who ones (including the weeping angel treetopper- before that, I put Princess Leia at the top). Hallmark released a Firefly Serenity so that had to go up as well. I usually will pull out an old boardgame board to put under the tree (last year was Avalon HIll's Dune board, year before that was the old Star Wars Hoth game).

Now that I'm grabbing HMRs, though, I might have to pop some on. The tough thing is finding space on the tree, since I end up doubling up on some branches now.

Yep, it's the police spinner. Since most of the scifi Hallmark ornaments this year seem to be prior-year rehashes I already have, this is the only one I'm grabbing this year.

We got the fakest looking tree we could find for it. You can't tell from the first pict but it is pretty loaded down with ships all over. I actually stopped putting characters on the tree for the most part because I didn't have room.



 

And using @jenius's numbers (he likely has his legs fully extended and I don't), we're looking for the size to likely line right up with the Tynami/Aoshima and CM's size, which means given the detail on this, I'm happy to pay the price point.

Also, even though I wasn't going to buy anymore since I have Miriya shipping and on its way, I saw a good deal on Roy's strike and so I had to get it.

THIS is why I didn't want to start into a new scale.
