Thanks. They are known as Henkei and they can transform into the three modes. I think there's a non-transformable Battroid-mode Takatoku toy as well.

    Regards

I had this in Skull-Leader paint. I never could understand why the wings were so damn small- would have made up somewhat for the hands that didn't hide and the backpack that was molded shut.

I eventually broke the little rail for the right arm to move when transforming and I probably ended up trashing it instead of thinking about how to fix it.

If the Scout and Roy VF-1S do in fact end up being sold exclusively as a double pack, it will basically confirm what we've been realizing for the past few years: non-valks rarely sell well on their own.  It could be the new reality that in order to get a non-valk release, we're going to have to buy it bundled with a popular valk (either as a re-issue, or something they haven't made, but think will sell well).

The GBP set is a prime candidate for something like this.  Probably the Hikaru VF-1S DYRL.  The Max VF-1J sold well enough, but maybe not well enough to serve as a bundle seller.  I would think the TV VF-1S would be a good match as well, but maybe we'll get that later?

Or we could be jumping way ahead of ourselves and this won't be a bundle at all.  It's fun to speculate, though.

I'll take a Phalanx with a TV Roy in a heart beat!

Shhh, you're making too much sense, they'll never do that. :p

Actually, going forward with DYRL releases, I bet they would include the piece with a Hikaru 1A or Max 1S.

On the other hand though, I'm really happy they included so many with each strike pack set, because that means we'll all have gobs of spare roundels to paint up in alternative markings. ^_^  I'm definitely thinking of doing a set with plain kites, as well as a some of the other ones we saw in DYRL.. I think there was a spade design, as well as a couple of arrow shapes?  Would go perfectly with a DYRL CF.

I kind of wish they'd put the kite on the opposite side of the roundels, so you could pop them in either side. BUt then they'll likely just release those with a TV super set later.

Any more info on the interior detailing?

Why not include the scout regult with a regular regult? Wouldn't that make 100x more sense?

I've been lobbying for gift-sets in the HMR line for a while and when they put one together it's just a total head scratcher.

Or two Regults with a scout for an escort. I'd buy it. BUt hell, I'd buy more Regults at regular pricing considering the aftermarket now.

  5. Them still sitting on one of the most popular destroids still is killing me. Throw the Tomahawk and Phalanx together in a package and I'll buy it.

Just keep in mind that I reposted a pic of the Tomahawk prototype from years ago. It was not shown today

    You are cruel. So cruel.

Their toy partners are small time indie operators and East Asian bootleggers, one of which was in such dire straits it literally went out of business before it could produce anything.

Still would have loved that three-mode Spartas hover tank. Damn you MaasToys!

I could think of lots of VF-1 toys missing from my HMR universe and I would love to see HMR become the most complete Macross universe over time.

Will suck if Bandai only shows the DX VF-1S Hikaru and HMR VF-4G Fokker and nothing new/unseen.

If the "nothing new" they show again is the Tomahawk and Phalanx and we get a chance to PO, I will not complain.

That explains why I can't find the others.

I've had a couple Yellow Belmonts on PO for a while now. Is the Yellow Belmont the same as the Lancer? Forgive me, I've never seen Mospeada, only RT 35yrs ago (Mospeada is on my watch list though). I'm not hip on all of the names, etc. Am I looking for a Lancer release? Or am I already in on that?

    Thanks!

Yep- Lance "Yellow" Belmont = Lancer from RT

Re-issuing the Regult and Glaug would be welcome as well since finding them for a reasonable price is like searching for the holy grail.....

I find the Glaug fairly easy to find, but the Regults (especially the missile Regults) are waaaaaay tougher to get in a decent price range. A single Regult going from $160-$300+ is crazy- and the missile set going for $400 or more is nuts.
