That does look like a better shade of yellow.
Lighting issues?
Also, they really should have pictures of this toy surrounded by pineapples... whole pineapples, chopped pineapples, and pineapple salads.
It's definitely weird photoshop issues, because the lighting appears to be from the front left of the toy (thus why the chest on the right side facing us has a shine along with the front of the left arms of the toy. Using my black pen, I'll circle one of the parts in the image bugging me:
Notice the pop up should lights bleeding through the front of the toy, as if the lights themselves are real and turned on. Definitely someone frakking with photoshop. The shine on the GB-11 is wrong as well, but that is a different pet peeve (it shines along the topside *and* near the hand next to the upside down Y in SPACY, an impossible place for the light to glint if the light is coming from the opposite side of the toy).

Also needs a Marauder.
But really, when Battletech took the art, they did not keep the relative scaling whatsoever.
My Marauder is just off to the right of the Griffin, along with some of the OST mechs. And if you look right under the Archer, there is a Hornet LAM on the shelf below (ok, I know that Hornet mention in the Spider and the Wolf is now non-canonical).

Those medium mechs look much bigger than the heavy mechs. Just being a battletrch geek, haha.
I'll just put the HMR version of Warhammer next to it for comparison and.....

That chest color does seem a bit too orange to me too.
Definitely the photoshop, because the one Kawamori plays with is not orange at all.

Yeah, I'm wondering about the exclamation mark too----my preferred option (JP eco) has it-----anyone know if the mark means "not actually available" or just "will take longer than usual"? (can't imagine there'd be any other meaning). Couldn't find anything in their FAQ's about symbols for shipping.
I can't speak for NY right now, but The Jungle still let me order with economy shipping but with a warning that it won't ship right now. They did let me stack more things in my order later without upping shipping a bunch, though they did note that's not normal "policy". I know I'm waiting longer for some things to come from them, but what is coming I got some fantastic prices on so I'm patient.

Yeah- Im guessing whoever did the photoshopping on that pict just screwed up their color saturation when playing with everything.

My wife isn't a huge spender and while she will sometimes make fun of me for my toys, we make enough money that it isn't an issue. It's just funny because sometimes things that are delayed for various reasons all show up at the same time, even if "ordered" years apart (damn Kickstarters).

The Battletech buddies are together.
Big thanks to those who convinced me to grab the Dougram HMRs.

Thanks to the folks in the HMR thread, I was convinced to pull the trigger on these non-Macross HMRs last week.

Stig is more effectual in the Ride Armor than in the Legioss when engaging the enemy, the usual male-female tropes are in play, and I think it's funny how they're in North America, but everyone speaks Japanese. It's certainly a bit of a guilty pleasure, but I'm enjoying it for what it is.
It's even worse- at that point they are still in South America.

What are the other two modes? Ranch and honey mustard?
I believe the three modes are "Beef", "Pork" and "Chicken"
Chicken mode is the hardest to accomplish; it is a little fidgety.

Since someone was looking for v1 VF-1S head shots, someone is selling on FB so here one picture:

For those looking for a Megahouse release for a good price. The image looks a little different from the one I have though, so be careful buying.

This forum is nothing compared to the tarantula forum I’m on. You can’t post random pics of T’s that aren’t yours (claim copyright infringements). Can’t mention where you buy your T’s. Can’t post links to things you may buy. And they’re quite rude if you have newb questions. The site seems to be run by a bunch of nazis. This forum is quite tame.
Tarantula bzns is srs bzns.

When I told sqidd that his high heels highlighted his "assets", I was being 100% honest. No snark at all. Totally none.

Yes, I look that good in heals.
They lift the ass to help highlight that "feature". Nice job on the glute workouts!

Actually, it seemed like it really WAS the only 1S you ever saw on the TV show. They were common enough in DYRL but on TV there was really just the one 1S a couple of 1J and a whole sea of 1A.
Not to mention 1Ds, like the weird 1Ds in "Virgin Road/Wedding Bells"

The Battletech fan in me has been itching to grab them , especially since Mandarake has then up for about $150 shipped currently.

If only Bandai could focus and release what they originally teased.
I have been thinking of grabbing the Dougrams- are they same height as the destroid releases?

OTOH, while you will see tons of crazy prices for the Regults, if you are patient you can grab some for decent prices (I've gotten some for as little as $120 shipped and I got my missile set for $220 shipped, both waaaaaay less than a lot of the quoted prices. Glaugs are usually more decently priced since people tend to not army build with a bunch of them. The VFs vary- I recommend keeping an eye on Mandarake and The Jungle and trying to get a bunch at once to keep shipping reasonable.
As for the Monster- GET IT. Don't hesitate. Find a price you like and buy it. You will not be disappointed when it shows up. Definitely also grab the Defender and Spartan, which if you are patient you can get for under $100 each.
