HG is already branding a lot of their stuff Macross, so that wouldn't likely be a problem.

You would think that, but BW is signing on to the ending of arbitration and the appeal, so they seem to be going along with whatever game HG is running.

Last I saw was "extended for the foreseeable future". From the looks, I'm guessing HG will drop the appeal and BW will allow them to purchase DYRL distribution rights and in return drop fighting distribution of the rest of Macross properties (at least outside the US). US will probably continue to be a mess unless they come to an agreement as well. HG essentially lost the battle in China, they were appealing in the EU, so I don't seem them dropping the appeal unless they were absolutely certain they would lose or if they were sure they got something out of it.

What @Anasazi37 said- once you start down the path, forever will it rule your destiny! The key thing is that the smaller scale and lack of perfect transformation are things to keep in mind. I avoided getting "one more scale" for awhile and the stars of the show are the destroids and enemy mechs; but that said, I enjoy these the most of my current toys in that these are fairly solid and so can be played with regularly (as opposed to my 1/60 or 1/48s that I tend to set in a pose and leave it there for longer periods of time). The only other toys I handle this much are the chunky monkeys- for the same reason: solid, not likely to break from handling, and simple to transform. I'm middling in terms of my HMR collection compared to some here, but I've now gotten pretty much all the TV releases, a few DYRL releases (like the VE-1 and VT-1) and I'm now up to six cannon fodders (two wearing OWL armor). As I've said- they are fun to play with so they get addicting. Here is the HMR valk shelf minus the newest CF: And here is the newest CF in the brown/white OWL armor: I've got the destroids and enemies all on the other side of the room. I'm thinking of getting a few more FEXT sets and doing a big backdrop along this shelf.

I have been avoiding the Eaglemoss releases and just tried to be happy with my small die casts I have. Though I had to pick up the BSG Shipyards book from Eaglemoss. -
Some got lucky with Nin Nin with Roy, but it has been the exprience that they PO some at MSRP, ratchet up the price, sell more, rathet up, etc. Then they often fulfill the marked up ones first and work their way backwards. They've had a number of complaints, but not NY level of complaints.

Yeah, my last two attempts with From Japan were either "Already sold our limit" or the second instance it looked like the order made it but it got cancelled for them being over the limit later. I know a lot of people had the latter recently. I ended up being able to get an order in at AE for not too much over retail. I do know the retail was higher on this than for the others- I think mainly to accommodate the extras like the fan racer. I know Roy's retail was ‎¥19,800 but I think the 1D was more like ¥23,100 or something like that.

I know most folks are playing their proxies close to their vest now, since the proxies that have been posted have been overrun by people now- From Japan is basically useless now since that was frequently mentioned and now anyone making a DX purchase through there is usually getting cancelled due to too many people ordering through it. My suggestion is to search up proxies and see what you can find. As for Nin Nin, you are probably better off with Okini since I've had no problems with them and lots of folks have had issues with Nin Nin (though you are more likely to get a matrked up toy from Nin Nin than a MSRP order, even though the msrp order came in first).

While the Evolution legioss is a big floppy mess, I didn't mind grabbing a dark legioss on the cheap to go with my gakken 1/35s. I do think it is funny that the 1/35 Evolution mini ride armor and pilots are the same or smaller than the 1/48 Sentinels.

Got an inexpensive Evolution Dark Legioss from Mandarake to sit with my Gakken 1/35s. -
Cmon, now, it's only *four* times on the front! And it is definitely not for five year olds, since they'd destroy this weak toy so fast it wouldn't be funny.

So I was moving around some of my HMR VFs to make space for another brownie when I accidentally hit the stand for the Elintseeker, popping it off. I reached out and caught in, but somehow popped a wing off when doing so. I started searching around and the wing had totally disappeared. It may have slipped into my comics rack I have but I haven't tracked it down yet. And of course I knock the wing off one that doesn't have an alternate set. So until I find the damned thing, the poor Elintseeker is going to have to stay in space and avoid flying in an atmosphere.

My first thought when you said you might sell your other one was "Oh please don't do that!" since I now have some HMRs from @Alphahorizon coming as well as a Evolution dark legioss on the way from Mandarake (about a week after I told my wife I wasn't expecting to get any new mechs until the DX 1D). But if it *does* go up as a listing. I'll look at it for sure. And then start the process of rationalization. -
