  1. The back of Skywarp's box shows what could end up being MP Thundercracker... http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=149515
  2. Nice job there mpchi How are you applying the wash? I think you should paint those darned transperent pieces to match too. They look even more out of place on a detailed toy.
  3. Mmmm... Decepticon flavour, my favourite Happy Birthday David! I will now go to the store and buy a piece of cake in your honor. .
  4. Trick question? He didn't have a name as Toy Box never put the toy into production.
  5. Toy Box were the original makers of Sky Lynx and Omega Supreme. ToyCo were the original makers of Shockwave.
  6. The Hasbro USA Wal*Mart exclusive edition will be a Toys'R'Us exclusive here.
  7. These images from a 'test shot' auction show it having missiles and Dr. Archiville. It says 'hidden missiles' on the side of the box but I can't see any direct reference to Dr. Archiville.
  8. yes Because the image on the back of the box shows the scorch marks and the packaging for both editions is the same I think the two editions will be the same despite a magazine article that claimed there would be sme differences in the markings (which could refer to a single Destron sticker being the only difference).
  9. Nice collection Vermillion21. I noticed BBTS are clearing out their Starscreams if youre interested in a second seeker. link
  10. My SDCC Rodimus arrived on Monday. The color is a bit brighter than KP, but still good. That feels like the end of an epic for me too. I do own every Alternator and used to have every BT before the line was cancelled. Those and Masterpiece are the only TF lines I collect. I have pre-ordered BT-18 Rijer - which will make 4 Ford GT variations. The Japanese version of Hasbro's Masterpiece Starscream does have carbon/scorch/weathering/poo on it as well. It is still unknown how it differs from the Walmart release, if it does. And it wouldn't suprise me in the slightest if Takara do release an 'Animation Color' variation as well, e.g. MP-7, depending on the success of Hasbro's version.
  11. It was quite expensive considering its MP3 limitations, but a really nice figure. The inevitable black repaint.
  12. RE: USA Edition Masterpiece Starscream I got this reply from F2F today... _________________________________________________ For the USA edition Masterpiece Starscream, I cannot confirm if there is any “weathering” on it at this time. The info I received from Takara-Tomy only indicate that he will have different weathering and markings from the Hasbro releases but I expect the differences to be minimal since the Hasbro packaging will be use anyway instead of the Takara package. _________________________________________________ So I'm guessing it's probable that there won't be much difference.
  13. So far F2F is the only place I know of taking orders at $78 + postage. HLJ.com don't yet list it. Walmart will retail it's version for $56 which represents a considerable saving if you dont mind the "weathering". BBTS is charging $90 + postage because they figure they can export it (the Walmart version) for that much to countries without Walmart. Alternators Rodimus is being released in SEA so it might be easy to get a decently priced one on eBay in a few weeks. I ordered from F2F a few days ago but am yet to get a response back.
  14. F2F have preorders for a listing of the "USA Edition" of Masterpiece Starscream. It looks like the "weathering" has been substancially reduced or gone altogether.
  15. Isn't the idea with the Classics and Animated lines to have the TFs look as much like real world vehicles without having to pay royalties? I think that is why the alt forms are looking like hybrids. Unlike the Masterpiece line where I'm sure they have to pay royalties to the manufactures of the F-15 (Boeing?) and might explain why Classics Starscream actually looks like a F-15.
  16. So does this mean that Shadow Chronicles actually made enough money for a sequel...?
  17. YES! Although he does have a swiveling head it is still squashed looking like Starscreams
  18. Yeah, I'm expecting Takara to put out MP Starscream Animation after the US version has been released for a while, so... say March...
  19. There were bootlegs of those released not long ago. TFW2005.com has a pic of the back of Skywarp's box. There is a third seeker pictured on it which might be Thundercracker.
