Hg invested money in macross and the other showes. they had 2 choices 1: si tont he sereis unitl laws changed and loose alot of money 2: come out with robotech and not go broke Hell if it was up to most people. they woudl do somthign similar. hg was not some big million dolalr compnay. people need money to live and keep their company alive. consider that. the treu culprite is the people who amde the 65 ep rule and for evel for forcing roboptech titel. There were no laws involved in keeping Macross & company off-air in unaltered condition. HG wanted syndication,which requires a longer run to be viable than a normal show that airs once a week on a major network(which was the other option open to them). They felt that syndicating the programs would bring them more money than licensing them to one network, so they raped them. Robotech was created so HG could make as much money as they thought was possible. We'll never know if that was an accurate assessment of the economy, though.

The Crescens wasn't the hero's mech. It was a late addition to the party, and belonged to the hero's kid, if I recall(haven't played Xenogears in ages, disk 2 makes me too sad). There was ONE episode of Voltron/Golion where the hero mech was armless. It was the single most incredibly retarded stunt in the entire series, though.

Not very familiar with Macs. If it were an IBM-compatible, I'd bet the soundcard didn't have an amp, but Apple would have to be cheap beyond words to not put an onboard amp on a machine that expensive.

It's often shortened to just MOSPEADA, which is also the motorbike/powered armor name. There's jets beause the motorbikes need a way to get from place to place quickly, and they transform because everything should transform if possible.

Macross 2 isn't real. Seriously. It was creatd without any input from Studio Nue, and has been banished to an alternate reality where the rest of the series(save the original show) don't exist. Welcome to REAL Macross, BTW.

Well...they were bastards during Space War 1....but they were more or less wiped out leaving Global and the other general dudes forming the new military and UN Government. Return it from where you got it and ask if they can replace it (i.e. exchange for another copy of the set) Southcross: The Macross DVDs are 1-layer, as I recall. Animeigo did that intentionally. He tried 2 disks. I suspect it's a player problem. Alas, DVD players aren't all created equal, and some are real bitches about some disks.
