Nice collection of "20th century" stuff :p .

My sentiments exactly  All that woodgrain, the paper cone speakers, turntable with dustcover, and the old brick cell phone...WOW! Surely this is a collection of nostalgia! I don't even think the newer intelligent remotes are made to function with some those components. Nice collection though...

I'd put us back on topic with a pose, but I'm at work...

  2. Damn...I don't like the bubble hands. Couldn't they have included a set of mechanical hands too? ...sigh...

At this point everyone should have extra DYRL hands from their other Valks to get the mechanical hand look. Give it shot and I think you'll be satisfied. I do see your point that a set could have been included, but meh...we don't always get what we want.

I believe it will come with 2 trays, one with valkyrie and the other one is armors so it should have the standard missiles, gun pod, clips, pilot figurine...

Unless yamato comes up with something new with the valkyrie in battroid mode, but very unlikely.

I'd like to see it come suited up already like they did with the v1 set. The extra parts, if any, could be fitted without compromising the shape of the box. TAMPO EVERYTHING!!!

  3. I hear ya brother!!! Or even better 1/32 for the people that'll whine about making their 1/48 collection obsolete. And tampo everything!!! I mean everything!!! Even the numbers!

That would be something, at 1/32 I wonder if yamato could even work in the actual leg transformation system, rotating and collapsing landing gear, working lights, opening access hatches, etc.

The correct legs can definitely be done in 1/32. I was goofing around with a little model one day and some binder clips and it seemed pretty easy to do. Not only that, you could use the mechanism used to move the legs to then switch back up and form side covers in battroid.

I can't even fathom what 1/32 scale would be like, but I know it would be larger than 1/48. Just as long as it's a magnified mold of the new 1/60 scale with the same tightness and poseability I'm all for bigger. And what EXO said...tampo everything and completely do away with a sticker sheet! I can only imagine what a big gargantuan Valk would look like next to that new huge SDF-1 coming!

  4. lol you can never have enough 1/48's

Hey, I'll be the first to admit I'm a 1/48 fiend, but these damn exclusives are driving me crazy! Heck it's hard enough as it is trying to keep up with the current 1/60's I want. I'm finally coming to grips with letting some Valks go to finance new ones, but damn it sure is hard to let go of my beloved 1/48's just to see another exclusive released. Break the mold already Yamato!!! Sheesh!!!

  5. I spoke too soon. They do sell them individually for $5.99. This might be cheap enough for me to take the plunge. Perhaps I'll be the one reporting back now...

    EDIT

Yep, couldn't pass that up US $5.99 including shipping is worth seeing what these are like. I'll let everyone know what I think when I get them.

Thanks for the link. Couldn't pass this up. Picked up a few sets and might try my hand at applying them when they arrive. Will let you guys know how they work out.

  6. If i gonna sell it will be the hole lot i one time.

Anny valk. from macross plus or zero and i will trade the hole set because ik love these serie's

If I had extra's of the Macross Plus Valks I'd be all over this. I do have a Roy's VF-0S that I might consider trading. Would you be interested in it?

  7. For most poses it is pretty obvious which lengths are being used. For those more complex poses please let us know which lengths are being used.

    For example:

    sm, sm, lg

    md, md, sm

    lg, lg, md

I think you guys get the picture. Many thanks and keep the poses coming!

  8. Yup, these sets are available, bought mine at 31$. its just one set, includes everything you see in the pictures, plus one pilot. fully painted. aside from the carrier base, there is also an airfield base diorama. its really well worth it IMHO. the base is made up of ABS plastic.

Cool deal and thanks for sharing...

Aint mad at Vegas showing off...

Eugimon is still on point as well as m0nster and others!

But JC has confirmed what Maverick has always stated...it doesn't take a high dollar camera to pull off shots of what we are taking pics off. I'll be sure to take his suggestions as well as JC's in the future. Seems like good photography is not as entailed as it seems.

  9. Much respect ruskii. I liken your skills with the Flexi-Stand to Vegas, Eugimon, and the new guy JC (who'd getting better by the minute) picture taking skills. You've definitely inspired me. Hoping to up my posing skills to your caliber...
