Nothing to buy, not good deals. Maybe Christmas will be the day.
-
Are the 1/60 ones pre cut Taka?
Not pre-cut.
-
Send me a message. I still have stickers for the 1/60 scale only.
-
Considering size and maybe, not transformable, this can be done in vinyl and look that good.
Price would be considerably lower too, maybe $250.
-
Oh no, I like the shadow picture. Start saving more money.
-
Toy looks too simple, yet attractive. The price is the real downfall.
-
Looks like a cheap model kit. Evolution toy failed.
-
I know what it is, I have good eye for distorted pictures.
It's the new YF-21 folks, and it will not be cheap
-
Damn it! That price...so tempted.
-
As much as I want another one, I will save money for a color variant.
-
I forgot. The mold of the VF-0A is identical to the VF-OS, except the head right? Why the price increase then? It is because the 0S is more popular and more fans will buy it, that's for sure.
-
How are you calculating this???
I am guessing comparing to other toys in the market who are similar in design and have a much lower retail value. But we will never know for sure how much this toy really cost to make.
-
How much do you think a single VF-OS cost to manufacture? After paying the designers, molds, assambly workers plus the licensing, I calculate each valk cost no more than 60 dollars. Remember, there are not electronic parts or fancy materials. It's all plastic and metal.

Hi-Metal R
in Toys
I'm a bit curious about the scale of the Hi Metal R. Is it 1/100? Read a description that says "Non scale toy" and apparently it is not shown on the box.

Please MacrossJunkie, put your pictures of the Arcadia and Bandai on the poll I created. By the way, which one do you like more?
-
Thanks wm cheng for giving all the pros and cons of both toys.
Forgot the panel lines details on the Arcadia. Some of the lines tend to dissapear because of the inconsistent depths.
Yeah, if you don't panel line and put decals, the Arcadia looks cheap. There is almost nothing to fix with the Bandai. Looks perfect right out of the box.
-
Like the poll so far. I thought Bandai had the advantage with more gimmicks, tampo marks and better tan color.
No doubt Arcadia is making this even with a more friendly design and faithful representation.
Both toys are great and the poll makes sense. Too bad Arcadia is raising the prices of it's valks. Right now, I can't afford the VF-0 valks and opted for the Bandai 1/100 Hi-Metal.
-
Interesting how close the votes are going. Arcadia's color choice is another motive of why I voted for Bandai. The strong cream color makes perfect contrast with the black stripes.
-
I think that of all the modern valkyrie toys released so far, the Bandai VF-19Advance has the most advanced engineering (which I love about it).
Yeah, it's amazing how Bandai managed to add all the little gimmikcs, spring mechanisms and details that work so well.
-
Not the same type, but they almost have the same design. Die hard fans of the YF, VF-19 Izamu valkyrie surely have both toys by now. So, which one do you prefer? My vote goes for Bandai, I think they made the ultimate VF-19 toy in 1/60.

Yeah, nothing lasts forever but I have my Takatoku 1/300 SDF-1 still white after 35 years. I think it will stay white before I die. The whitening treatment only lasts for another year or less if not keeping the toy in a dark temp controlled room.Mmm ok bro but!!
Nothing lasts forever!

The old CMs face sculpts look 10 times better. Too much articulation for figures that are not particularly seen doing action sequences.

Hi-Metal R
in Toys
Why does Amiami always have the cheapest price for Bandai toys? Y7,600 for the Hi-metal is a steal.

Great combo, a nice figure and a great magazine. Hope it has lots of Macross pictures from the last Tamashi event.
