Thanks for the clarification. It's up to Bandai then, to release a non "self destructive" cannon fodder.
-
Are ALL the VF-171 cannon fodders prone to breaking? Is there a "first batch" that is inmune to any defect on the black plastic?
If you are rich enough, can you buy an Alto or the other new variants, exchange parts and have a perfect VF-171?
-
So, people that reserved one on the very first pre-order from HLJ got cancelled while others that used the last bug link got one?
Nonsense, shame on HLJ.
-
Nice find!
-
The mysterious HLJ secure link order worked for me! Got payment request a few minutes ago.
Thanks to the guy that found that link.
-
Has anybody who ordered from NY received a shipping notice yet?
I want to know that too. A friend of mine passed me his order and I am waiting for his email.
-
What I don't like about Arcadia in battroid is the gap between the chest and the nose. It had that design in all the versions of the VF-19, should've made it more subtle.
-
Maybe it's an agreement between Bandai and HLJ. Let Bandai know to keep fabricating the toy a little more and don't let Arcadia to sell a future YF-19 reissue.
-
That open-order link is a joke. It never closes.
-
What's the link for the YF-29B?
-
How do you guys find those HLJ links. They seem to be legit.
If I log in an do a search, they are sold out. If I click on the new link, it's available. That's not fair

see the early reviews and pics I think fighter is for arcadia, gerwalk a draw and battroid for bandai and for this last mode I believe that arcadia=lineart / bandai=anime accuracy
Ditto.
-
Although the Arcadia looks much closer to the lineary in battroid, I prefer Bandai's sleek design and proportion.
-
For me, I prefer Arcadia in fighter and Bandai in battroid. But I will decide when I see more pictures of both side by side.
-
Looks great!
What I like the most about this VF-19 is how robotic it looks in battloid and how sleek it looks in fighter.
-
What an "advance" transformation!
Perhaphs the most complex valk to transform, the design is so radical. I like the Bandai aproach, keep it coming with more variations.
-
A friend of mine passed me his Nippon Yasan order and paid for it already. Can't wait to get it.
-
I will wait for a miracle from HLJ. If not, I will wait for someone who gets bored of having two or three of the same type.
-
Hope to snag one one this weekend, there should be enough cancellations to open the pre-order again.

Weird, but it works. Apparently, HLJ knows there will be enough Hi-Metal R for everyone.

This will go nice together with the Takatoku 1/100 conversion kit.
-
Took only one minute to be sold out, that is impossible. How can someone be that fast to make an order?
-
Buyee doesn't charge commission on shipping but they have a 10% charge on your bid+200yen bank transfer fee. This makes Buyee significantly more expensive than FJ. However you can keep your items *really* long in buyee's warehouse.
Yep, having your items in the warehouse is a great advantage. You can keep your items for 90 days.

I remember watching the Manga promo video around 1995 in a Miami nightclub. Remember watching these promo previews: Orguss 2, Patlabor, Ninja Scroll and of course Macross Plus. As many, I was blown away by the new Macross series. Later, I found the VHS volumes at Best Buy and bought them.

Finally! Amiami worked for me. Thanks for the headsup on the second call.
